About Me

Just moved to town and am still learning the area. I love being a part of an active and health conscious community. Who does meetville have the "Describe your personality in one word" drop down menu populated with personalities longer than one word i.e coffee snob?I've developed an interest in 5ks but not the boring plod down the road type. I want to do obstacles, mud runs and such. I ran "Run For your Lives" a zombie infested 5k mud run/obstacle course and let's just say that if you need a human shield when the zombie apocalypse starts up I'm your guy. I only made it about ***through before becoming zombie food. Still finished the race but alas not as a "survivor"As a golfer I have one heck of a bowling average! Biking, hiking, kayaking. Basically anything to battle the never ending attack of what I like to call Cubicle Butt Syndrome. It's kind of like a fish in an aquarium the butt grows to fill the space that it occupies. OK that's enough of the aquatic references on the fish site. So pretty much anything outside hiking biking being active that's the fun stuffMy musical tastes are varied and range from rap to opera but not necessarily mixed. Well if this interested you feel free to drop a line and say "Hi" I'm not looking for any specific type of person but there are certain things that I need to "connect". I like witty, intelligent, funny conversationalists that have an interest in current affairs. I'd like someone that loves theater but as long as you can tolerate my interest in it we should get along. In general just have a love of life, a thirst for knowledge and a positive outlook.Unfortunately I have to throw in a bit of negativity so here goes. I try and be polite to anyone who *** but to possibly save you some wasted effort the following items, traits habits are deal breakers.1. If any god is the primary focus of your life. I'm non-religious. I won't judge a person's belief system and simply ask for the same respect.5. You believe that what you wear to Wal- I really hope that isn't setting the bar too high. Time for another set of observations. I see a lot of profiles stating that they're "looking for their best friend" I'd like an explanation on that one. I read that statement one of two ways. Either you value your friends so little that the first person you form a romantic connection with supplants people you may have known for a lifetime and thus are a very shallow person I don't wish to meet or you have zero friends and the first person you meet would by definition be your best friend as it's your only one. refer back to position one. Am I the only one that reads "bubbly personality" and thinks it means they have a flatulence problem?If you're looking for the one that takes your breath away then while single are you practicing auto-erotic asphyxiation? There's so much pressure during a first date to make the right impression. Dinner and drinks can be nice until you order something green and then have it sticking between your teeth the rest of the evening. ***'d prefer a nice ice breaker something with humor involved; it could be anything from a comedy club to sitting on a bench making up the life stories of passers by.
