So somehow I messed up my profile and for the past week my height was listed as under 5ft...Not sure how/why that happened. Seriously, I'm 6'3"... At any moment I may turn against academia and move to Belize and work at a dive shop (or open a classic- Over the course of my adult life, I have lived in 8-cities, in 5-states. Mainly this was for school and post-doctoral employment (I would love to land a gig overseas). I have traveled to 9-countries, but would like to add more to the mix. I'm tired of the bar scene. I know that's pretty cliche'. Don't get me wrong, I like to go out with friends, I just have yet to start a quality relationship with someone I meet at a bar. I'm looking for a woman with an adventurous spirit. Someone who likes to try new things, travel, and who is open to the possibility of dating turning into something longer-term. My interests are varied, including (but not limited to) hiking, camping, reading, gaming, traveling, going to museums and pubs/restaurants. I also enjoy SCUBA (I am working on my dive *** and restoring/ riding my classic Vespas. Eventually I hope to work on a pilots license...My favorite word is: Antidisestablishmentarianism.     Open -unless you're a dude or married...most especially not if you're a married dude. I am obviously looking for a relationship, but I am cool with just making some friends as well. In most cases one begets the other. I say most because if I have learned anything, it is that there are few if any constants in this life. I know I know beautiful example of a run on sentence On the flip side: No matter how bad things seem they can always get worse.I like most types of music, classic rock being foremost among the genres. My dream job would probably be doing voice overs for cartoons. Having typed that I see how lame it sounds, but it is true. Let me explain for about 5 years after I graduated I was a (barely) professional stage actor. Getting into a fun character is awesome, and cartoons have some of the most colorful. Not to mention (although I am aren't I) that as a voice actor you have a great chance of dodging the "fame bullet". I think the reality of fame probably sucks, sounds good till it happens to you type of thing. Ok enough justification for one paragraph.If I haven't scared you off yet and you want to know more leave me a message. Just about whatever, I can normally have fun doing just about anything. That said I would prefer something where there is a chance for some conversation.
