I would make you laugh(I'm funny by the way) to make you open up. hopefully it would be naturally fun. its so much easier and more pure when you become somebody's friend first. like legitimately care and listen.You never know what someone is going through unless you ask.

I think it was the best decision I've ever made. I work mainly nights so its kinda hard meeting someone new. Besides that I really enjoy going to the gym, movies or out to dinner.
