I'm recently divorced after a 12 year relationship with my ex-wife. My 8yr old daughter is the center of my attention. I' ve never thought about online dating before but I don't have the time or the desire to hang in the clubs and bars so here I am. I have to admit that I am a little shy and awkward at first; not to mention that I am pretty rusty at the whole " dating game" . But I usually warm up to folks pretty fast. Some people mistake my initial tendency to be standoffish as rude or snobby. I just like to listen and observe a bit before jumping in... I am easy going and eager to please. Loyalty may actually be my best quality. I'm not a game player just a typical, thick-skulled male who does his best to pick up on the subtle hints you ladies like to drop but most of the time straight forward is how I should be approached. I Like to have fun. I don't mind big crowds but I interact better in more intimate settings. I am principled, strong willed, opinionated, and grounded but still open minded.     Well, here it goes....For starters, I am probably not your typical male. I am not big into sports. I know a lot of people like football, baseball, and so on, but never had an interest in them. As far as I look at it. I would rather spend my time doing something constructive with someone than focusing my time talking about who is the best quarterback this year. I have always been attracted to extreme sports such as skateboarding, snowboarding, and BMX. I really don't follow any of them any more though. I enjoy the outdoors when it's nice out. I like to go on bike rides, camping, or just explore nature and be adventuress. I am a compassionate man, a good listener, and a romantic. Another thing is I am a big country music fan, so it would be a bonus to meet someone who also likes country. The one thing I cannot stand though, is someone who swears a lot. I admit, I slip from time to time, but I find it very unattractive to use foul language constantly. I have much to offer, and if I sound like the guy for you, let's chat. Well, if I'm reading this right, my first date would probably either be spent going out for a nice dinner, and or meeting out at a dance club or a similar social event and get to know one another better. I'm up for anything new as well, but it would be nice to have a dance partner.
