I'm happy. It's good to be able to say that and mean it. The last few years of my life have been a journey of huge personal growth for me and I am ready to travel the way with someone. I feel like I've matured 15 years in the last three. I've made personal victories in coming out to people, accepting people for who they are, believing that I am worthy of love, not feeling guilty about setting personal boundaries, knowing who I am, and making sure I take care of my own needs, among others. It has been hard, but I am glad I invested my time in this journey.I am a well rounded guy who has a positive outlook on life. The two words that best describe me are "calculating" and "adventuresome". Well... I'll throw in another - I am very playful. I love going on adventures... learning... growing. I smile and laugh often. I enjoy doing lots of things, but care more about who I do it with than what I do. I am a Christian and my relationship with God is a central theme in my life - not to be misinterpreted as preaching to people, but more how I treat others and behave. I accept others for wherever they are on that spectrum, but really need someone to connect to on that level to make a relationship work well for me. I think my ideal first date is pretty simple - let's meet over coffee or dinner and just talk. Alternatively, if we share a common interest, like hiking, I'm totally open to trying something more nontraditional - like a hiking date. I'm pretty open and care more about who I spend my time with than what I do.

I'm a single guy with some good old values. I love my family and friends, and all they bring into my life. I enjoy being me most of the time. Most of the time you ask? Hey, we all have bad days. Very loving and child like in all the right ways. I'm amazed every time snow falls and get kind of gitty. I love getting scared at haunted houses. Nothing more fun than taking cookies right out of the oven and then eating them up with a tall glass of cold milk. Got the whole sweet thing down, but kind of in a quirky way I guess. Not sure I could explain that. However, this is the type of guy I am. Hope you enjoyed the read and at least got a smile out of it. The first date is always the hardest. Hmmm, I guess I'd want to do something fun. The whole coffee; drink; dinner thing is old and quite honestly uncomfortable. Two people afraid to open up and be who they are. You really get to know a person while screaming on a roller coaster or going to a haunted house. Maybe do something like King Richard's Fair. Something fun where you are caught off guard and quite honestly show each other your real self.
