I'm a NC boy with a slight twang I can't seem to fully neutralize. I'm as comfortable on a farm as I am at the opera. I love to travel & have been to most of the states. I am a huge theatre buff & see plays more often than movies. However, a quiet evening curled up on the couch is just as rewarding. I'm also fluent in ASL & have a lot of friends in the Deaf community.My general philosophy is that the activity isn't as important as the person. Spending time with an interesting person is enough to entertain me.Education & self-awareness have always been and continue to be a high-priorities in my life, and it would be difficult to take a serious interest in someone who does not make an effort to be a better person on a daily basis.     I love the outdoors, hiking, body surfing, jogging etc. but I also am a totally homebody. I like to try and spend one day at home per week. I feel it is good for the soul.
