I'm happy. It's good to be able to say that and mean it. The last few years of my life have been a journey of huge personal growth for me and I am ready to travel the way with someone. I feel like I've matured 15 years in the last three. I've made personal victories in coming out to people, accepting people for who they are, believing that I am worthy of love, not feeling guilty about setting personal boundaries, knowing who I am, and making sure I take care of my own needs, among others. It has been hard, but I am glad I invested my time in this journey.I am a well rounded guy who has a positive outlook on life. The two words that best describe me are "calculating" and "adventuresome". Well... I'll throw in another - I am very playful. I love going on adventures... learning... growing. I smile and laugh often. I enjoy doing lots of things, but care more about who I do it with than what I do. I am a Christian and my relationship with God is a central theme in my life - not to be misinterpreted as preaching to people, but more how I treat others and behave. I accept others for wherever they are on that spectrum, but really need someone to connect to on that level to make a relationship work well for me. I think my ideal first date is pretty simple - let's meet over coffee or dinner and just talk. Alternatively, if we share a common interest, like hiking, I'm totally open to trying something more nontraditional - like a hiking date. I'm pretty open and care more about who I spend my time with than what I do.

I never know what to say here...I'm looking for someone I can talk to for hours on end or just be quiet with. Someone that I can imagine being without. I know that's hard to find, but I'll never find it if I do t look, so here I am :-) I have been on many first dates in my day and have had great fun doing the normal dinner and movie or doing something out of the ordinary like hiking in the foothills. I guess it just depends on who I'm going out with and their personality. I'm open to almost anything :-)
