About Me

I like travel, movies, day trips, and good food. A beer or glass of wine at an outdoor table on a summer evening is hard to beat. Since I'm originally from NY, there will always be a little bit of attitude and sarcasm in my personality. I've been in HB for 14 years now so the accent is gone and some of the rough edges are worn smooth. I believe you can achieve anything you set your mind to, so 11 years ago I started a small biz out of my house which has turned into a great manufacturing business focusing on motorcycles and motocross racing. It has been a lot of fun taking a teenage hobby and turning into a successful business. I also have a few investment properties and am fortunate to live near the beach. My hobbies, yoga and gym workouts keep me feeling healthy and fit and am attracted to women that have active lifestyles. I want to meet someone that has time to date, since one of the perks of being a business owner is more free time and a flexible schedule. I've been stereotyped that since i've never been married I can't make a committment, which can't be further from the truth! :) I don't have kids but its still something I haven't given up on. I am open to dating someone that has a child that could use a male influence in their lives. I put myself in a younger catagory becuase of this, so i'm confessing right now I'm really in my late 40s and i'm hoping to meet someone in their mid to late 30s/early 40s that would still consider having children (one is enough at my age:). My grandfather didn't have children until he was 48 and that was in the ***s, so it must be in the family genes....he lived to be 101.One last thing, i may joke about being old, but i will outlast you at any activity you choose! except running, I hate running :) its hard to say, probably meeting for a drink initially, then see where it goes from there. A bike ride or paddleboarding might work too.
