Really terrible at this because I am quite modest. I usually let actions and deeds speak, since sometimes others will think "words are meaningless and forgettable" (if you know where I took that from move to the front of the line, please :) I am usually the reserved and quiet type, but all of my friends, co-workers and people that know me tell me they find me very entertaining and funny, affable and missed when my presence is not there. They say I am handsome, too, especially my grandmother, who thinks I look like Rambo lol. She's 90 and doesn't wear glasses (for real!) might be time for a checkup..lol. Everyone can't believe that I am single. I am quite puzzled by this as well, and it's not for lack of effort. It's probably bad luck, bad choices and bad timing...a combo of all three...who knows. When I worked in my old job and traveled throughout the country, women were a lot more friendly than here and a lot less "walled-up" sad to say....just an honest observation. Nice and Friendly is always the way to go, in my opinion, I don't know any other way in conducting myself as well. Looking for someone sincere, honest, kind and loyal, and with a positive attitude, since that is who I am...but do not mistake this for being a pushover in a relationship. Looking for someone who believes the whole is more than the sum of its parts. Attraction is what starts it, of course, but I'd love to meet someone smart...I put a high value in that. I don't necessarily mean book smart either, just someone who is aware of the true ways of the world, and has an inquiring mind and always likes to learn and do different things. I think that is a great sign of an intelligent person...grades and degrees matter not.?!?! did I just let that slip out :) I will go the distance with the right woman....I'll crush mountains and leap tall buildings for her, and treat her like a queen, if she is worthy. A man can still do that in this day and age, right? Or, is it wrong to think or do less? Love above all else? Or, is that fictional in today's jaded, devolved society? I know the answer, and I know there's someone out there that does as well, I just haven't found her yet. In the meantime, I'll work on getting better everyday because one should. The moment you stop improving, is the moment you no longer live. Whatever you do, don't get ground down...grab onto what is good in life and lift yourself up.     Thanks for checking in. I am a young retired Air Force, who teaches high school and coaches softball and soccer.
