I am a wicked smart, introverted but social,(not the life of the party but hope i occasionally pull off ackwardly charming), and caring man seeking friends and ideally a relationship. I’d love to check out a live show, spend some time reading and drinking wine in the park or on the beach, or try something that you're into that i've never even thought about before. I'm looking for a genuine and fun woman to make a real connection with and am hoping to find undeniable chemistry, start out with being friends or a couple dates then see if anything more developes.I work in the trades, have some post-secondary education and have some tentative plans to continue my education in the near future to expand into some new opportunities. I tend to have old school manners while admiring strength and independence, am genuine, affectionate and generous. I am loyal, faithful and give a lot of myself in a relationship and seek someone who wishes to give back in the same way.I’m a pretty relaxed guy. I like to read and watch movies or (yes i'll admit it) TV, but also have a more active side. I have recently fallen in love with sailing and can't wait for may when the club i belong to puts their boats in the water. i also try to make it out for a run, swim or hike once in a while.I am not a big partier but enjoy having a few drinks with friends. I’m not a jock or sports fanatic but do follow the Canucks and CFL. I’m not a gourmet chef but can occasionally cook to impress and like cooking with and for others. I have opinions and am not afraid to share them but also respect the opinions of others, I don’t need to change their mind and don’t mind if they try to change mine. Lately my iPod has been playing Bon Iver, the national, black keys, band of horses and similar.I enjoy almost any genre of movie from box office blockbusters to the occasional foreign film, but my all-time favourite is called the station agent. My friends have all had to experience this movie, half of them even liked it.watched the ted talks lecture on window farms the other day. it is actually something i'd considered trying years ago but didn't have the knowledge or cash to put into the project. the lecture has inspired me to give it another shot. i've been researching and gathering info like a madman and am now trying to streamline the chaotic mass of info into something i could place in my living room window and be proud of *** looking like frankensteins lab.I live on my own, am gainfully employed, have no record, do not do drugs, have a vehicle, and consciously keep drama in my life to a minimum.Good luck in your own search.ps. my chat doesn't work, sorry something laid back that allows a little communication, the beach, the park, or a patio would be great.
