Hey there, thanks for checking out my profile! I'm looking for dating first that would hopefully progress into something more serious and ultimately marriage (this obviously takes some time...but that would be the goal if we totally click!). I'm a few years out of my last long term relationship and find I'm missing that connection with someone and it's definitely time to get on with finding a long term partner. I'm not into dating for the sake of dating at this point and I'm looking for someone that I have great chemistry with. I think we all have a pretty good idea of the type of person we'd like to end up with...finding you is proving to be the difficult part! I have a great job that I love, I'm financially independent and own a nice home with a great yard and awesome Summer patio! I absolutely love to travel and take in new cultures and seem to have a thing for ancient civilizations and ruin sites. Where do you want to go next?). I play acoustic guitar and drums, I like to sing, play music and be social. I would love to find someone who is creative in their own way; bonus points if you play an *** are an artist of some description (I think everyone has something that makes them unique so this certainly isn't a must!). I'd like to do more photography and take in some live theatre or comedy. I'd like to get out to see more live shows and performances...hopefully these are things that we can enjoy together. I'm currently working on getting out of the "few extra pounds" category and into the "average"- I want to eat right and maintain an active healthy lifestyle so it's important to me to be with someone with the same goals.I'm looking to meet someone with common interests who is in that stage of their lives where they have lots of things they've accomplished, is financially responsible with great friends and family but is still looking for that person to compliment it all. I believe that I am thoughtful, respectful, romantic, trustworthy, witty and funny. I love to have fun and good times with lots of laughs! Don't want to even think about how many times I've rewritten this. It's hard to sell/talk about yourself. I'm at a point in my life where i'd like to find a good woman and settle down. No, that does not mean I want to get married tomorrow. Far from it. But i've come to realize that I'm missing the companionship of a good woman. My interests vary. I'm happy and content curling up on the couch to a good movie, or going out on the town. As for hobbies, I've been missing going drag racing. One of these days when the economy is better I'll get back into it. As for now, I enjoy getting out and riding the motorcycle with good friends.I've recently gotten back into riding my bicycle and running.
