To make things work, you have to want it to work, plain and simple. Everything can work with two people who really want it to and are ready! To tell a bit about myself, I see things from the positive side of the world. I have a job and own two properties. I've worked really hard in my life and treat my relationships with that same effort. I take walks and love to ride outdoors(mountain biking) when our lovely weather cooperates. That is what keep my sanity flowing nicely(lol). Fun things I like to do is going to live concerts. I have been to alot of shows.I love the Sabres and the Bills, most of us do;and do go to a few games a year to support our teams. What I am looking for in that somebody is one who has her mind set in the right place.If your one of those whom just wants to *** and months, move on. I can see *** a few times for initial contact.Then we can go with a simple easy common sense phone conversation. Read closely....If your insecure, have commitment issues and sellfish...drink more than you really need to and have no compromise..please move on. Most of all, Ive been searching for my best friend....someone a bit understanding and mostly supportive , someone to talk with through lifes tough times and happy ones as well. I am here for that someone special, and if It gets to that point in where we fall in love, trust me you will know and feel it! So if you dont have the determination and that excited feeling of meeting someone that could possibly change your life.....Then Happy Fishing. I think a first place to meet, you can work out something within reason as to where and how to meet....coffee, a drink or walk along somewhere where the sites can be seen. Dessert is always nice too...

So how do you sum yourself up? Going through the process of writing and rewriting this took allot of thought and soul searching. What do I say to accuratelyr represent myself? To represent what I am looking for, there are so many things I could say about myself. The many success's in my life, as well as the failures. Do our failures in life not say as much about us as our success's. Anyone can sit here and tell you how great they are. Though to not acknowledge my failures as well as my success's would make me a fraud and a hypocrite. If you fail, at least you tried. So yes I have failed in love and at times in life. I guess that is what makes me the man I am. When I failed, I immediately got back up to try again. That is what I am doing now. As I have said I have failed , or at least not had much luck at love. I have wondered why, and have tried to improve in those areas. So about me. I guess first and foremost I am a father, brother, son and uncle. I am very spontaneous, adventurous, loyal, dedicated, a survivor, passionate lover, fiercely protective, outspoken, hard headed, (at times) and am not afraid to show my feelings. I enjoy being around people, hanging out with my friends and family is one of my favorite things to do. I like to get out and enjoy life, though I can also be happy at home with the family. I do not do drugs, but I do drink on occasion. I try to never judge anyone, but try to accept them for who they are. I love being outdoors, try to go to the Ozarks as often as possible. I love concerts, dive bars, canoeing, bar-b-que's, or just sitting on the patio listening to the world. As for music? I like country, classic rock, rock and some R&B. I am not into any type of games or drama. Life is entirely too short for it, and I am definately not getting any younger. Though I don't feel my age there is definately no denying it. Are we all not looking for something real. Someone we can talk to, be open with, tell all of our fears, triumphs and heartaches. I know I am. When I think about what I want, the movie "The Notebook" comes to mind. I want a love like that, one that will stand the test of time and endure. So many people have separated because they have "grown apart". What is that? How do you grow apart? If you truly love someone dont you grow together? If we were meant to be exactly the same would we not have been made that way? Isn't it our differences that make life interesting? We ask ourselves, what is it that first attracted us to that special someone? Was it their eyes, their smile, their body, the way they could make you smile or laugh? Then as time moves on you find out the deeper things. Though it is our differences that make it interesting and exciting. It is like taking a vacation somewhere you have never been, you get to see all the things you have never seen. The same is true for a relationship, it is the excitement of the unknown. I revel in my differences, embrace them and accept them. They make me stronger, happier, and more enthusiastic for life. They make me unique. As for what I am looking for in a partner. First and foremost please do not mistake the fact that I am looking for a partner in life. I am not looking for a casual sex partner, a hanger on, or someone who wants something for nothing. I want someone who knows what they want out of life, Someone who is okay with a family. Someone who takes care of themselves, is spontaneous, adventurous, fun filled, has her own mind and is not afraid to speak it. Someone who is ambitious, loyal, honest, trustworthy, a woman who is not afraid to show her affections and emotions. I could go on and on. Though I refuse to settle, I also do not need perfect. I just need you to be you. If you have got this far, then maybe you like what you have heard. So would you like to know more?
