I'm not much into self-promoting but i guess this is where i tell you about myself. I've recently moved back to the area after a few years at the beach and several years working in film production. Other than working in film i have worked as a bartender, it's been fun and something i enjoy. Being a bit of a "techie" and a "handyman" i decided to take what was a hobby and turn it into a career. I moved back to the area to be closer to family and also to start my own business. I enjoy working hard. I like to feel like i've accomplished something at the end of the day and take pride in what i do. I also don't mind cold beer after a hard day either. I more-so enjoy the social aspects of drinking, rarely do i drink at home unless i have company or on rare occasions. I don't care to go out "clubbing", more the dinner and a movie type. I really enjoy cooking, i'd say I'm a bit of a foodie. I'm also a big animal lover, i tend to like people that love their pets as much as i do. I also like to stay informed, I'm a big fan of the news, some mainstream but more alternative news, or the truth as i like to call it. And, even though you can't tell from what i have written so far, i have a pretty good sense of humor, i like to laugh but most of all i like to make other people laugh!FYI the kids in the pic with me are my nephews, no kids of my own but I'm fine with you if you do. Well, I'm a pretty simple and straightforward guy. I love to laugh, and it's often the little things that amuse me -- especially when that thing is myself. To paraphrase a quote, "Sense of humor, my dear friends, is 61% sarcastic, 25% cartoony, 8% teasing, 6% devilish, 3% silly, and 2% butterscotch ripple" (2 points if you know where that's from). I'm also a fairly outgoing person. I enjoy getting to know people, and many times find myself striking up a casual conversation with a complete stranger. I like being honest, even when it's difficult.So what do I do in my spare time? Well, some of my favorite activities are: swing dancing, hiking, playing a round of golf, or a game of tennis, taking long walks (no, not off short piers), building and flying radio-controlled aircraft, going to the movies, or to the symphony. I love being outdoors. That being said, I also love staying in and curling up to pizza, wine, and a good movie. I'm a roller coaster fanatic (read, "junkie" However, I also love road trips and seeing new places, so traveling to a good amusement park is definitely not out of the question. ;) But most of all, I love one-on-one time with good friends; and I generally try to create a balance in my life whenever possible.Who am I looking for? I'm looking for a sincere and genuine person: someone who is comfortable with who she is, and is looking for someone who feels the same. I'd love to find someone who shares some similar interests, but also has some of her own.
