Love? Love... Above all things I believe in love! Love is like oxygen. Love is a many-splendored thing, love lifts us up where we belong, and all you need is love! Isn’t this how most of us feel about dating in the beginning? Then I think we all feel the disconnection of re-entering the dating pool again, when it doesn’t work out. With all the boring applicants we get for the job of lover, how can we fill the urgency we feel to find the person that understands us and likes us despite their better judgment? Well, I don't know the answer to that. I do know that while I am not likely to sit with you and watch multi- millionaires run around Fenway Park, I am only too happy to go horseback riding or just relax around an autumn bonfire. Life is way too short not to get all dressed up, go out and crash a senior citizen dance event. Or we can hang out at home make dinner, play scrabble by candle light and make fun of co-workers. Whatever we do, there is no better time to do it than right now. So why wait? I am currently taking a break from college. I am back working as an optician. No, that is NOT a doctor, I am a sales supervisor if that has any weight. I tried to escape because I have been doing it since ***. I realized I don’t love this job and that struck me as long enough, so I went for a change. I am really good at finding a new hobby to experience. I realize that I won’t be around forever so I try to fill my life with new passion. Sailing and/or learning to ride a motorcycle is next on my list of interests. On a more day to day basis I am good at making a vegan Minestrone soup that card carrying carnivores seem to like. Selecting eyewear for friends and strangers. Being five minutes late to almost everything.If you asked me what the first thing that people notice about me is, it would have to be that I was once told I look like Arvid on Head of the Class. Recently a woman I was talking to online made fun of my "; eyebrows. Or that people always tell me they know someone that looks like me. So that tells me that I must have missed out on a really exciting life of crime. The first thing YOU might notice about me is that I sent you a reasonably well thought out message then when you clicked on my profile you thought, "Aw crap, why did he have to look like Arvid and not someone off People's Sexiest Man Alive issue?" I don't have TV. I do watch some stuff on the interwebs. Musical taste is vast, I dislike country! Movies tend toward thought provoking, dark humor, guy stuff. I still can’t see the draw of The Big Lebowski, but I will watch Boondock Saints and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels over and over. I am broad minded enough to give something a try. If only to find out it was not for me. I am fond of Homemade Shortbread cookies and peanutbutter fudge. You can't buy my love, but you can defintely get my attention with shortbread cookies. Food? Indian, Thai, or Soul Food I just need a menu and I will find something to like.So why should you message me? Because you suddenly wondered where I have been all your life or you found my car keys. I just prefer that our first date not be dinner. Can you think of a more high pressure experiance than eating in front of someone while talking to them? No...no "date" I say we do something low drag but high octane.

Well, people would say my life is very interesting. I live on a small airport in Spring where I have been for more than ten years now. I have a small shop where I stay very busy. I do any number of projects for my neighbors and several of the companies that hanger their planes here. I do anything from scrubbing hanger floors to flying the airplanes parked in them. I work and play hard and would like to find someone to share my time off with.
