About Me
I'm in a good spot in my life in terms of career, friends, family, and financial stability. I work at home though, and the activities I spend the most time on (skydiving, jiu-jitsu, scuba diving) are mostly all guys, so I don't get many opportunities to meet new people. I should mention that although I do jiu-jitsu, I don't own a single Affliction, Tap Out, or otherwise lame t-shirt. I'd really like to meet someone to explore all the Twin Cities has to offer. I also love to travel extensively. I grew up in 5 different countries and I get pretty restless if I don't leave the country once a year.Personality wise, I'm very laid back, hard to offend, and have a great sense of humor. I do my best to treat others how I'd like to be treated. I try to be very active, but I'm also an avid reader and enjoy unwinding with a good book before I go to bed at night. My favorite winter activity in MN is leaving to go somewhere warm, but I also like skiing, snowball fights, and watching hockey. Most of my free time in the summer is spent at the drozpone, but I also enjoy triathlons, camping, swimming, and biking. I love to go to concerts year round and to see live sporting events and live comedy whenever I get the chance.I answered a ton of the multiple choice questions from my tablet and didn't realize there was a part 2 and 3 where I"m supposed to indicate how strongly I feel about my answers. Thus, I probably come off as extremely apathetic. That's certainly something I need to go back to work on. That being said, other than variations 'don't be mean, don't discriminate, and don't hate', there are not too many things I would consider a deal breaker. My ideal partner will also have a great sense of humor and adventure. I find women who are passionate about something (hobby, career, sport, etc.) and good at it extremely attractive. Given that I like to joke around a lot, it would probably be helpful to have a thick skin. I'm just as comfortably dressing up as I am in workout clothes and I'd like to find someone similar, who has a number of diverse interests. I'm not the type of person who thinks we need to do everything together, but it's always nice when each of us can introduce the other to new activities or things to enrich the other's life, while respecting our need to be individuals as well. It would be great if I could find someone who is willing and able to travel too. Naturally, chemistry and physical attraction are also important. For a first date, I'd prefer somewhere safe and public of course, where we can get to know each other. Coffee, dinner, sporting event (concerts are too loud for a first date), museum, etc.
