Life is an endless adventure of discoveries. We have the power to make our own heaven. I am excited about that heaven and curious about the endless possibilities that life and love have to offer. I am an easy going person who thinks it through but trusts his heart. I am passionate about exploring the world and my place in it. There is beauty everywhere. You just have to take the time to listen, feel, and notice it. I have to remind myself of that all the time. The simple can be extraordinary. I am passionate about learning, asking questions, being in the moment. Life is what you make of it. Studied at UVic, traveled to Africa, graduated, started an organic farm raising lamb, chickens and growing produce. Farmed for seven years, my son was born (he's 7), went back to school, became a teacher and moved to Cortes, bought a property, got a job working with children with special needs amongst other things. There's more to the story but that gives you a sense. If you want to know more, just ask.My son is the most influential person in my life. He woke me up in a lot of ways. He forced me to reassess what was most important to me. Because of him I revisited my core principles and values and began to live the life of the man I always hoped to be. One who can have true compassion and love for another human being. One who's actions matched the ideal.I'm looking for someone who's authentic. Someone who isn't afraid to be who they are. The easiest thing to do is be yourself. You are the best at it. There is no one like you. The hardest thing to do and one that can lead to a lot of suffering is to try and be someone you're not. Purely and essentially everyone is perfect.I try to be as genuine as I possibly can be. Some times that means not being popular with everyone and may even mean pissing some people off, but most often than not it has really worked out. It is amazing how life flows the more authentic you become.

    I really dislike this part! I'm a outdoors kind of person but I don't mind staying at home and watching a movie once in a while, i like being spontaneous, I enjoy travelling and would like to do more in the near future, so many places to see and really so little time! I have two daughters aged 6 & 9, they are with me every second weekend and are very important to me and come first in my life. Not sure what else to write here, I'm sure there is a lot of stuff but I just can't think of any thing right now!What am I looking for, well I guess I just want to meet new people, try new things, hopefully meet that someone special to share life with!
