Writing these about me sections can be painful. There is nothing more excruciating than attempting to describe yourself to a possible person. But since you’re reading this, I suppose I can describe myself to you. I am fairly new to the world of online dating. Recently my dating experiences have been limited to the occasional friend hookup (strike one), the bar scene pickup (strike two), and the one girl I met at work (umm… strike three! Yikes!). Nothing has panned out obviously so here I am, giving this a try. I can’t find any reason to be against finding a date this way. If you like what you read then we can chat and get to know each other, if not, you can move on and try someone else. That sounds pretty simple and I am absolutely all about simple. I’m an easy going person. I like the outdoors. Fishing, camping, barbecues, hanging out with friends… all of these things are me. I’m not big into clubs or bars but can be persuaded to let my hair down occasionally and cut up the dance floor. I like to travel on occasion and I’m always up for a new adventure. I like to laugh and have fun but understand that life has a serious side and isn’t always a bowl of cherries. In my opinion, sarcasm is a spice of life and I have lots of it…. Lol! And on occasion laughter really is the only medicine for the things that ale you. It is okay for a guy to cry. Old Yeller gets me every time! Big trucks on tires are only good for in the mud and getting dirty isn’t just for out in the woods! Sunsets and long walks aren’t just for girls - I’ve seen some of the prettiest things in life during both. Dinner or coffee. Something quiet so we can get to know each other.
