About Me

Hi how's it going? I've been told I'm athletic, masculine, and a bit of a nerd. I love my job to a degree that actually makes me feel a little guilty about it sometimes! Like: "Man, they pay me for this?". It is pretty much my dream job, I've worked very hard to get where I am, and I can't imagine being happier doing anything else. I get to be creative, be part of a team, and get to be physical as well. It's a great balance. And like my career, I'm well rounded. I've built houses, ...and I've built computers. There's a range in my experiences... Being physical is a major factor in my well-being. I play in softball, flag-football, and sand volleyball leagues. I ran the Crazy Legs Classic 8km race this spring, and have done the Warrior Dash and the Tough Mudder as well. Always a good time! ...except maybe when I took 10,***volts to the side of the head during Tough Mudder and had what felt like an out-of-body experience! No joke. It was pretty wild.I'm very open to meeting up in person! You can really only get so much from reading profiles and sending messages you know? In nearly every *** I meet someone in person, I'm (not so) surprised to find that they are not like I thought that they would be, based on their messages and profile. I think it's impossible to really get a sense for the person until you have that face to face interaction. Know what I mean? I would prefer a relaxed sort of affair, just to chat. Maybe get a coffee or a beer. Movies are a little too formal or "datey" in my opinion and aren't as personal. Ideally, it would be pretty chill, just getting to know each other, and maybe later we might get some food or swap saliva if the situation calls for it.

    Does anyone really know what to put here?!? Let me try... I'm a down to earth guy who likes to enjoy whatever I am doing. Life is too short to be serious all the time, not that I can't when needed, but I'd rather spend the day with a smile on my face. I have a job that I (most of the time) love and allows me to make the world a slightly better place each day. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going out when I have the time, but can also enjoy a night snuggled on the couch. I consider myself a rather good cook but don't get to do it as much as I would like. Who has the time during the week? I enjoy most types of music, country being my least favorite. I know I may catch some heat for that but odd fact, when I karaoke it's almost always country! Don't ask me to explain... I also love going to concerts and am thankful that most are a cab ride away. I enjoy reading and try to relax to a good book at least once a day. I'm a huge animal lover and have a dog who probably lives better than I do. I'm a die hard IU basketball fan and try to go to as many games as I can each year. March is one of my best months of the year. I enjoy working in my yard and being outside. I haven't travelled as much as I would like recently but there is something special about getting out of town and enjoying the world. And of course the stereotypical stuff, midnight walks on the beach, candle lit dinners, whispering sweet nothings, and so forth...For the rest just ask! I'm often shy at first, although I hide it well, on a first date. Not "awkward silence" shy, but what I would consider adorable shy, or so I have been told! I think it's important that we do something that we can both be comfortable in, especially when we are trying to get to know each other for the first time. It's usually not the best place to get to know someone when they don't like what they're doing... Whether that is grabbing a cup of coffee, having a few beers while listening to a band, or eating dinner and heading out on the town I'm sure that we will have fun. I do think it's important to spend some time on conversation and getting to know each other. That's what we're there for right?
