Ohhhhh, the first date! Hmmm....the first date is always awkward unless very basic circumstances are satisfied. My first dates I try to follow some very basic principles:1. ZERO pressure/expectations - on/from either party. 2. Respect the "grey area". Not everyone likes fine dining, but most don't care much for taco bell either. :)3. 100% honesty - regardless of the question or situation. 4. Attempt to maintain a level of comfort for both of us.If those basic principles are met I can guarantee only one thing ***helluva time! Depending on the judgement call made, or communication involved some possibilities may include: the very cliche dinner/movie combo (it's been around for ages because it works), a day hike (can be shortened at any point in time), lunch near the beach, a nice Rangers/Mavs/Stars game (depends on what kinds of sports she likes, and how interested she is in stuck a few hours from home sitting next to me haha).
