About Me

I have a crazy past...one that most people don't come out of alive. I am a father of 2 awesome boys ***& 11).I am an 8 year Active Duty Army Veteran as a Medic. I loved my time in the Army and it helped me develop into a very confident person.=AMAZING!-breweriesBeer (not a drunk)BBQs with friendsTexas LonghornsTexas RangersDallas MavericksDallas CowboysSports in generalShowing affectionThe beach and sunshineAnything patriotic and/or militaryDislikes:SelfishnessLonghorns, Rangers, Cowboys, Mavericks lossesCheatingTalking to exes (it ended for a reason)LiarsPeople who say "exspecially" and "supposubly"Hates (Strong word, I know.....apparently a good match from what I hear)Olives (bad experience)I did recently end a long relationship back in April and I'm finally at a point where it's behind me. I am hoping to find a friend or few out of this at a minimum.I may not have a degree right now, but I am a VERY smart/intelligent, well-spoken person. I have full intentions of furthering my education when I get through a few other things in my life. Hoping to possibly get back into school soon.If you like what you see and read and want to know more, message me. I really look forward to meeting some new people and gaining a friend or two. Let's see where it goes from there. I'm a pleaser and very go-with-the-flow. A first date should be something that is PLANNED as a quick thing (coffee or a couple of drinks). If you hit it off, stay a little longer or go somewhere else together. If not, part ways and move on.

I'm a open minded gentle giant, that likes to see the glass as half full. I'm always up for trying new things, and going places I've never been. I decided to give this a shot, I'm not into meeting ladies at the bar/club, and that's not how I like to spend my time off. I have no room in my life for unnecessary drama, and if you do we may want to part ways. First date is always different for me, I try to make the date original, and have something to do with the interest of the individuals involved.

Looking for: woman. In age: 29-39

I am a total gym rat. Lifting weights, running, gymnastics, combat sports, running; I love it all. So if you're a total couch potato, you might want to look elsewhere. If I can, I try and train twice a day. So I am usually exhausted by nighttime. I just come home, take a nice hot shower, go to bed, and do it all over again. If I am not training, I am usually reading about something that fascinates me, like astrology. It's become my latest obsession. It's actually really, really complex. More than you would think. That and everything that happens in your life happens for a reason.I am brazenly honest. I will tell you what is on my mind, whether you like or not. I will praise somebody for what makes them amazing, and tear them a new one for the things that are not so amazing. However, it takes a lot to truly mad; just try not to push it.I am a student currently enrolled at Lane Community College. I put school off because I fell in love with jiu-jitsu; but now I see that you can't always make a living off your passions. If I could, I would teach jiu-jitsu for a living. It truly makes me feel alive. You can't really understand it until you have done it. It's a game of death, where you are sweating and bleeding, trying to maim and kill your opponent, with death only being staved off by him submitting. You feel powerful, but also aware and sensitive of the destructiveness of your new found power. I feel an intense obligation to give this power to others. When I see a young man or woman with low self-confidence and self-worth; broken and beaten by the ravages of this world; I want to reach out to them and give the ability to take control of their life.I see every person as a blank canvas, a work of art yet to be finished. And some people never ever become the masterpieces they were meant to be. For we only have so much time on this little planet, spinning in a black sea of infinity. So don't let anybody dissuade from your dreams. If you fancy somebody, take a chance. Don't fear rejection; it'll become a self-fulfilling prophecy if you do. Love yourself; and truly act like you love yourself.By the way....if I get a message in my inbox saying 'so and so wants to meet you', and I send you a message replying to your apparent request, and you don't respond; I have to ask, why did you say you wanted to meet me? Is this like a cruel joke or something? Well now, you'll just have to find out, won't you?
