Let's see, how to describe myself... Trying to fold fitted sheets frustrates me to no end. I can't stand the taste of celery. I also don't like olives but I really wish I did. As a kid, I wanted to be a Paleontologist. In high school I wanted to be a Marine Biologist. In college I studied Computer Science. Now I work as an IT Consultant and spend my free time reading about the ocean and playing dinosaurs with my three year old nephew. I have set foot in 26 of the 50 states. I have been self-teaching myself guitar for 12 years. I'm still learning. Feel free to suggest songs I should learn to play! It's so much more than beads and booze. Such an amazing city!So those are some scattered facts about me! I am also the youngest of three with a brother and a sister. My parents are awesome, hilarious, and my inspiration. I love all kinds of music and enjoy discovering new genres and artists. Right now I'm really in to the indie pop/singer songwriter and Alt Rock genres. I also really love live music. It's always a great opportunity for us to get together and enjoy some great shows and do some bonding since almost none of us live in the same city anymore. I love going to the gym. I prefer doing weights, and sometimes cardio is a chore, but I have to go a few times a week. I really enjoy reading about science and learning how things work. Often times, you can find me at the Coffee Hound on a Saturday or Sunday morning reading Discover or Scientific American. I would love to meet someone who isn't in a hurry to get somewhere and is more about enjoying the ride. Someone who values and strives to live a healthy lifestyle. Maybe even someone who can teach me how to fold my fitted sheets...
