    I work in educational technology at a small college. Most of my time outside work is spent with my kids, some with a band, and recently I've been helping out a local theater group. The philosophy and science fiction are more useful. Traveling is wonderful, especially driving. I've been to all but two states (Idaho and Hawaii, in case you plan to keep score) and most of Canada. I lived in Arizona and Alaska for brief periods, but I love New England best. I might be prejudiced. But it's true, I love New England best. Fierce and fearless can coexist with kindness and sincerity. I enjoy people who are not afraid to debate, and do so to inform themselves and others. Honest people have a sense of humor, especially about themselves. Passionate confusion rocks. I respect those who appreciate reason, but it does not drive their life. I'm seeking friends with similar or completely different interests--curious, creative, open-minded non-conformists.. If you are honest and trustworthy and interested in communication as a way to improve yourself and the world, then I hope you'll say hello. Note that I work in Hartford but live in Woodstock, so if you're in central CT, we're closer than it would appear--at least some of the time.
