I've been on and off of this site for sometime now. Seems like everyone I've met either drinks heavily, has major hang ups due to past experiences, or wants to get married ASAP... So needless to say, I've experience a lot of drama looking for a friend to hang out with on my free time. I'm looking for pressure free, one day at a time, company to dinner and movies, type dating. I'm not looking for long term off the rip. I mean sure, if I meet someone who knocks me off my feet of course I'd be willing to consider the idea of settling down. However, dating with the expectation of long term from the start is setting yourself up for failure if you ask me. Honestly I'm somewhat boring... I don't drink, ever... Haven't in years and don't plan on starting to anytime soon. I have been known to fire one up***on my free time, but thats about it. I'm a single father, so much of my time and attention is devoted to that. I stay active in the gym, and in the sport of jiujitsu. I work full-time on top of going to school full-time... So, needless to say, I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands. I do make it a point to get out for dinner and a movie from time to time, and I guess what I'm looking for is someone to accompany me when I do. Then from there we can see where it leads at a natural, unforced pace.. That's what I'm looking for in the the most honest, straight forward way. Coffee and conversation...

Ok, so I'll try and keep this to the point, but hopefully entertaining and informative... I dislike liars, cheaters, manipulators, and general unpleasant people. After all, you are the company you keep AND if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.A must have would be that she has to like herself in some form. I've had some unfortunate luck in the past of meeting girls with low self-esteem that are easily dissuaded by the worlds ideals. Aspiring for confidence can work both ways, and it's really a preference I prefer to hang on to. Be prepared to answer what the best part of you is--I don't mind if it's physical, ambition driven or that you just really really can't live without seeing "Grey's Anatomy" every week and it drives you to have a stellar day.Lastly, I think we're all busy in certain ways and everyone needs their own friends and ability to keep hobbies etc. So, overall it doesn't matter so much if you're outgoing, shy, a couch potato or are training for the Olympics. What I really look for is someone motivated and passionate about something.Life's too short to just sit around and wait for something to come to you.
