I'm a contradiction and many would say I'm true to being a Gemini, though I don't particularly know enough about it to affirm or deny. I'm introverted but love being social. I'm nerdy and yet active. I love to explore, but I can also be happy just watching movies on the couch.I used to be the game nerd that spent his whole life on the computer, but I've changed quite a bit and decided I wanted more from life. It was a struggle to take charge of my inactivity and change my lifestyle, but over the years I have made it happen. Now my biggest consumptions of free moments are the gym and gaming from time to time. Most importantly, I am seeking a future with a lovely lady. I'd like someone similar to me in that they are comfortable with their nerdy aspects but also willing to get out of the house from time to time and enjoy this wonderful world we live in. I constantly think about traveling to live other places so finding this in another person would be an absolute bonus.I am open minded and will not date homophobics. First dates I like to keep simple. I think ideally a coffee shop like the Epoch here in town is perfect. I know many are vegan or vegetarian so they have options for that there. The pizza isn't too shabby either!     If you can't laugh at yourself, then you can't laugh at anyone else. I have a self deprecating sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously. I like to spend time with my friends and family. I don't listen to country music but I've still been to a few country bars. I can't pick out any country songs so if that's what you want to hear I'll pay, you play. If there is Nickelback playing we will bump that off for our songs.Here's that part where I talk about my job. I'm a police officer (it's ok, you can call me a cop). I love what I do, but I am not defined by my job. It's what I do for a living, it is not what I live to do. I love that I get to work outside on the summer days and nights while the rest of the working world is sitting inside under the warming glow of the fluorescent lights. In the winter, not so much. All that stuff you see on tv or in movies, the car chases, gun fights, undercover stings. Yep it's pretty much like that.Its about time to wrap this up.-Laughing at others, good-Laughing at yourself, even better-Playing golf, running, or taking a long walk off a short pier on a beautiful day will always be better than watching it on tv.-The opposite is true when the weather gets bad.-I love dogs (I had to fit this in somewhere)-I enjoy good music. Nickelback is not good, or music,-Every day at work is like a new "Lethal Weapon" movie, or episode of "CSI".-Sorry my schedule sucks, I'm not lying if I say I have to leave soon because I start work at 11pm on a Friday night, or 7am on a Sunday morning.Wow, I'm sure hope I can go back and edit this and thin it out.... The first date can be going for drinks, coffee, dinner and seeing if we can stand each other. After that we can try to impress each other with fancy dinners, long walks by the beach, short walks by the beach, and other beach related activities.
