My career recently brought me to Hawai'i. It's my first time here, and I love it so far. I am a laid-back, nerdy optimist who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. Others have described me as smart, dumb, witty, slow, considerate, selfish, intimidating, and not-intimidating-at-all. I have described others as fickle.I'm an emerging cinephile, and like watching everything from dialogue-driven dramas to mindless popcorn flicks. I can’t pass up a good bad movie, though. I used to DJ once upon a time, which eventually made me turn off my radio. These days, my iPod is mostly full of classic/indie rock & hip-hop, ‘80s pop, downtempo music, and comedy podcasts. I do CrossFit a few times a week, but I’d rather work up a sweat outside. I enjoy hiking, basketball, and racquetball. I've only swam in the ocean a few times so far, but I look forward to trying out some water sports!I'd like to find someone who shares my love of laughter, travel, and sunsets. Someone who likes to try new restaurants, lose track of time at museums, and take day trips to nowhere in particular…all while trading wisecracks and pointless commentary. Someone who can spend the morning hiking the Olomana Trail and the evening taking in live music at a dive bar. So I guess I'd like someone who can wake up early and stay up late.
