Hi there I am Ned and here's some info about me, enjoy!Likes:-) Films: all sorts, big dvd collection.***Music: massive CD collection with all sorts of genres but primarily urban/r&b.-) Video games: got an xbox 360, honestly it doesnt see much use lately outside of streaming tv/movies but I am looking forward to next gen.-) Cinema: hold an unlimited card for cineworld so go and see just about everything being shown.-) Walking: keep fit, see the sights and get to have a good listen to your music collection on mp3 player. winner.- whatever it is its going to be a yes from me.-) Playing in the park: climbing trees, swings, slides, kick about, playing with the dogs its all fun and all fits the big kid in me.-) Playing with my nephew: a legitimate excuse to play with toy cars and lego amongst other things with fringe benefit of keeping kids entertained.-) Reading: i do particularly like detective/murder mystery and spooky stuff.-) Badminton/Basketball/Running: clumped these together as its really rare I get to do them but do like to.-) Anime: new fall line up has started on crunchyroll, particularly like comedy and slice of life genres.-) Comics: a DC fan, havent bought any for ages but like to read them on occaison.-) Japan: the place fascinates me and I really want to go see it someday-Loves:***'s music, especially the dance music.-) Long hot showers, swear I would live in one if i could.-) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, novels, manga, anime.-) Starring in amusing videos: I star in a number of amusing videos including my take on the diet coke advert, music videos, me crash landing a bmx off a ramp, doing a bmx lake jump and a few other miscellanous vids. Ask if you want to see any, will provide links. None of its pornographic unless you consider a skinny topless white man pornographic.Would like to do:***Give reiki a try, if I understand correctly what it actually is.-) Go out to some new places.-) Perform live again, my cameo on stage was taster enough to know I would like to give it another go.-) Train up for a do a proper run of 5K or more, used to do it on parkrun in eastleigh but work when its on now and not tried something big like great south run.-) Go to the Big Bike Bash again this year and do the lake jump again.-) Go on a dream holiday, plans for a 3 week USA trip are in motion.-) Own a jacuzzi or hot tub.-) See some more theatre, saw the new les mis film at the start of the year and it rocked my world, recently seen (thanks to cinema showings) theatre productions of war of the worlds and the audience and would love to see some more.-) Meet some lovely lady off this site who I click with, could it be you *points* (that reads as really cheesy but hey its what we are here for right?)Interested?     So you've stumbled across my profile!!! I'm really rather flattered...I bet you were using that mouseboard on your laptop. UNLUCKY!......oh well, if you will indulge me, I'd like you to keep reading for the next 30 seconds or so........... . My friend described me as intelligent, friendly, funny and an all round gent.I'm not going to say 'I like travelling' even though I do (well I kind of have now). Tennis is my new No 1 sport (love playing it) and the gym is never that far from my schedule. Last year I was lucky enough to take part in the Thames path challenge a 100km ***mile walk in queens english) which was very rewarding for me and the charity I was raising money for. However it was pretty demanding, physically and mentally...! Its pretty much the same for music, I love playing guitar and seeing live bands/musicians/performers are high on my social hitlist - I used to be in a band called "Missing Cat", you may have seen our posters......As you can tell from my profile pics I used to be a model, but the glamour work was too much for me, I kept getting recognised, so I retired and just hang about with snowmen now!I'm looking for someone with a generous heart and a kind soul.     Where do I start...well since most of the people who get in touch seem to ask the same things I thought I would clarify a few of them in my profile. Firstly I am a dad who likes to spend a lot of time with my son as he is the most important person in my life, but he is now nearly an adult himself and is becoming less interested in relying on me and more interested in doing his own thing (I am told this is just normal and shouldn't take it personally :-) lol). Because of this I get to do pretty much what I want with my spare time, it's just that I prefer to do fun stuff with him rather than trawl the local nightlife scene which has become more tedious every time I do it.My actual age is 39 but it apparently my profile says I'm 33!! If anyone knows how I can change it please let me know! I wouldn't worry as I don't act or look my age anyway or so I'm told. Having a good circle of friends which keep me grounded with sometimes uncompromising banter also helps quite a bit!My main hobby is training a martial art called Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which I discovered after taking my son to train for self defense. I absolutely love it and the best part is it keeps me fit and in shape but is nowhere near as boring as running on a treadmill or struggling through a myriad of meat-heads all trying to get on the weights bench in the local gym.A few other basics are that I am very well house trained and have my own house, car and job which enjoy etc etc. I love to cook and experiment with all kinds of recipes too. I'm very self sufficient and love the peace and quiet of my own company as much as I like to spend time with other people but there comes a time when finding the yin to your yang becomes more of a priority which is I guess why I am here :-)Well I'm sure there is loads of stuff I have left out but if I carry on there will be nothing for us to talk about. P.S. Yes all of my photos are recent and not photo-shopped or deliberately blurred to hide the crows feet!! lol Do people really need to resort to this to gain some interest. I assume at some point we are going to meet anyway and would not want to see a look of disappointment on your face on the first date! That wouldn't be a very good start now would it!? ;-) Maybe go for a drink somewhere quiet and cozy or a walk in the country or if you're feeling more adventurous make a suggestion and chances are I'd be up for that ***
