Let's face it, I don't live the life of a rockstar or famous athlete ... but those guys are always getting caught cheating on their wives, so why would I want to live that life?It sure would make writing this more entertaining, and reading it would be much more fun too. I could tell you about all the exotic cities and expensive hotels I've stayed at while being on tour. All the parties, clubs, alcohol and drugs ... it would make for a much more interesting read.Maybe the rockstar lifestyle would be fun, but I don't want to live that life and a girl that's looking for that is not for me. While my story might not be Rolling Stone worthy, I do work hard, play hard, pay my bills, enjoy the company of my friends & family .Family and friends are important to me in life. I've learned that money and opportunities come and go, but your friends and family are always there to help you when you need it.I fully don't expect you to message me. Unfortunately real, honest guys like me often get passed over because we don't stand out among the hundreds on here trying to find a date. But if you're one of the few that are reading this to actually meet someone you like, here are some of the things that make me unique;Very passionate about anything that involves cars, trucks, motorcycles and can hold my own against any self proclaimed expert in the field.Skiing is my all time favourite pastime , wish I could year round.Have a great job and have worked very hard to get where I am.Have been lucky enough to travel quite extensively in the past and have a desire to again (hopefully soon) That's me in a nutshell. By day, I am a mild mannered English teacher, and by night, an avid gaming cinephile who loves to read and write. I personally feel that I am what some might term a "geek," but I am not ashamed. I embrace the geekdom as i was doing it long before it was the "cool thing to do." I enjoy such bands as the Foo Fighters, Green Day, and Weezer. I also enjoy a rather broad range of movies. Other than those, I don't watch a whole lot. I love tattoo art, and while I will probably never get one myself, I have no problem admiring it on others. I also love to travel whenever time and money permit. I believe the first date is the time to get to know the other person, to figure out what they're all about. I'm up for anything, , although I must admit, staying home, cooking dinner and watching a movie is sometimes more preferable and more intimate than going out and spending a ton of money.
