I have a great life - I'm happy, successful, active, creative, and nice. I am very independent, but after about 5 years of choosing to live single, I think it would be nice to share parts of my life with someone else. Friendships are incredibly important to me, and I put a lot of effort into that aspect of my life; they are like family to me. I still open doors, pull out chairs, take her coat, offer her mine, and put her needs before my needs. Chivalry seems to be thrown around a lot these days, but it's really just thoughtfulness - thanks Grandma, you taught me well :)My family is a big deal in my life as well. I have seven amazing siblings, who all have have a huge impact on my life. Most of them are married and have kids, or plans for kids, which think is so wonderful for them, and makes for huge family gatherings. I love my nieces and nephews, but having children is not in my immediate future (although I am open to adoption down the road).
