About Me

I'm a hard working southern raised man. I have my own truck, own my own house, have my own things. Would love to find someone to share them with too. I have a damn good career and often work quite a bit now. I believe to work now so I can enjoy my later years in life. It not an unheard of thing for me to work a twenty hour shift or longer. Sometimes I spend a few weeks away from home at a time. Just throwing that out there now. I work for a utilities company and I find it rewarding to be able to help others in a time of need. I have a soft spot in my heart for children although I do not have any of my own. I hunt, fish, and somewhat know how to farm. I'm not afraid of a little blood and sweat. Love to cook and mess around in the kitchen trying new things. I'm also a fan of fine dinning and trying new restaurants. I would love to start doing that again along with going other places. I have expensive hobbies but make sure I can afford them. I have a wide group of friends, some of them really close. As I've grown older I have become more of a homebody and drifted away from the party scene. Don't be fooled though, I'm not scared to spin a pretty lady around the dance floor or go out with a group from time to time, but I enjoy hanging out with a few friends drinking a little beer or whiskey around the fire. I'm for sure a water baby, love to be in or around the water. I think I have more boots than shoes in my closet. Sometimes I use a little foul language from time to time, but know when to turn it off. If there is anything else you'd like to know ask away. Definitely not a movie. I find it rather strange to sit in silence with a stranger for extended periods of time! How about we figure it out if we get that far, trust me, I'll come up with something good once I figure out your interest!

    I don't always message people, but when I do, it's about something they said or are in a picture of that sparks my random interest.I've lost 100lbs since ***and will lose about 10 more for a competition I'm doing in 2 weeks, and I'm proud of my accomplishments and will never understand why guys with their shirts off is a turn-off. I love to travel and do so as often as possible, whether it's a 3, 6, 9 or 18 hour drive somewhere (cross-country tour is in my plans) or flying off to another desination to explore and relax.While I don't really use this site, I felt it was time for an update. 4 out of 5 relationships start offline, so you're 1/5th as likely to fail offline as you are online! That was a random fact. I'm comfortable with myself and don't need to prove anything to anyone, nor do I try to. Anyway, while I don't need to be in a relationship, I like the idea of starting one because it's fun to share life experiences with someone else!With that all said, in searching for someone for a relationship, I'd like to find someone that enjoys being active all 4 seasons, eats relatively healthy, likes movies (and possibly video games lol) and enjoys going out to eat or have a glass of wine or just driving or hiking places to see where we end up! I'm terrible at writing profiles. Face to face is so much better. What would I do for a first date? What? Let's get a drink (any liquid hot or cold), go for a hike or go somewhere and do something that isn't a movie (movies are later). I'm up for anything from dinner to a petting zoo.     well I'm tall I'm funny and I like to make people laugh.
