In college, when my roommate and I used to go out to bars to try to meet women, he once told me that "not everyone 'gets' you as a concept, but the ones that do are really into it."I don't know if that's at all helpful (or even accurate), but it's one of the few third-party assessments I've ever gotten of my dating potential. I tend to relate very well to almost anyone, mainly through an innate sense of curiosity and a desire to understand what makes people tick. It's probably what led me to my current line of work - I'm a writer. Not just in theory, I actually make a (meager) living at it.I drink a lot of coffee.
