About Me

I'm currently writing my dissertation about the early years of the "" It's a blast. I'm still not sure what I want to do when I graduate. Like most people in the humanities, I'm seriously considering teaching at a small college or university. I love interacting with students but I want to end up at a job where I have plenty of time to pursue my research interests. I'm a self-declared lover of b-movies, the crummier the better. If given a choice to watch a low-grade b movie and a movie with any sort of artistic merit, I'll choose the b movie 8 times out of 10. I've become quite the expert at finding the best "good bad" movies, although I do fail sometimes and, believe me, it can be rough.If I'm not working on my dissertation or watching crummy movies, I like to exercise. Healthy eating and exercise are very important to me so any person I date would have to share these interests. This is one of those things that is non-negotiable. I love to cook. My mom has taught me well. A first date must be centered around conversation. Favorite topics of conversation on a first date: movies, music, school, finding shared interests, etc.
