Well, if you're looking for "selfie photos" of six-pack abs, a chiseled jaw line, and a wardrobe of Affliction shirts, well, that's not me. If you're looking for substance, personality and laughs, perhaps I'll be a fit for you. Most people are not well versed in writing about themselves, and I am no different. What I can tell you, factually, is that I am mature, dynamic and well grounded, but, I'll leave that to you to determine...........If I still have your attention, read further....So, I've spent the last year or so working in the remote Pilbara regions of Australia, on a "fly-in-fly-out" basis.I caught the tail end of a historical, Australian mining boom. A personal/career goal I had set for myself in the Spring of ***. I've had a great time living abroad, but felt it was time to side shift my career, get back to my roots and pursue new challenges. Preferably, I'm just a man just looking for his perfect space in life and coming out with a few interesting stories. For the past several years, I've moved and lived in multiple cities throughout the United States.;home" at one time or another. I'm looking for something tangible, consistent and fun these days.... and determining what fits. Am I looking for a relationship? Depends on if I meet the right gal. Women who are attractive, driven and carry traits of benevolence/humility will always capture my interest. Wine and tapas bar, low-lit, good conversation and perhaps share some laughs. If there is a second date, I'll cook ;)

No, wait, that's not right. Dammit.I like to think I'm a nice guy who's fairly quick with a joke (translation: coming up with fairly obvious observations slightly quicker than others...or, judging by the above, recycling someone else's...).I love music in all its forms, from a concert to my Ipod. And I would absolutely die if I didn't have my guitar. I may just be meh at it, but damn, is it fun. A smattering of faves include, but are most definitely not limited to: RUSH (best band ever, no question), The Swell Season, Travis and Mastodon. From 70s prog to acoustic folk to Britpop to metal. Diversity rocks. Blackhawks (CHAMPS, BABY!!), Cubs, Bears. Can make things difficult in this town I must say.I work for City Hall. No, you can't know which one yet. That'd be odd.I've relatively recently upped my physical fitness output so that's become a huge part of my daily routine. I've also discovered the joys of hiking and would love to share that with someone.I have an itch in the middle of my back and I just can't reach it. Shit, I never know when to stop sharing on these things.I'm happy in life but I'm looking for someone to share that happiness with; a best friend, a partner, the person I absolutely can't wait to see again.(Does anybody else laugh at the idea of describing your personality in one word? I chose hippie cos it made me laugh the most. Okay, me having a beaded curtain didn't hurt.) Anything so long as we can talk and get to know one another. That's really the key.

So this is the part where I dazzle you with who I am, what I do, and all that jazz. Lets see how I do.I am recently single, and am working on figuring out how that works all over again. So in that process I am getting back into working out, though sometimes its hard for me to get my shoes on and get out the door, but once I do, I go all in. With the recent free time I have found, when I am not trying to better my house, I am trying out new things and trying to find fun things to do.My hobbies in the past have made me more of a homebody, watching movies, sitting through tv shows, and playing video games. While I still like doing those things, I want to get out more and leave the homebody at home. I am trying to get out to more shows, since there are tons to choose from in this town. All other types I listen to, but not as commonly enough to get favorite bands. The only thing I don't really like is rap and techno. That was my shot at dazzling, hope it worked. The first date would be simple. Meet somewhere that you can hear each other without having to scream over anything. Some drinks, whether it be water with lunch, coffee at a bistro or drinks at a bar.Good conversation is a must. After which I am open to most things, a pool hall to play some pool, darts or anything else they have. Maybe walking the strip and talking and exploring what Vegas has to offer. Or find a place where we can sit and people watch. Doing something where we can continue talking, and if that gets boring we can always catch a movie or a concert somewhere.
