About Me

I moved to Vegas from CA several months ago for work. I have an awesome job that keeps me on my toes and allows me to live life. I work for a company with lots of opportunities and I take advantage of that as much as possible. I love having fun and being spontaneous-outdoors, indoors, outerspace...wherever. I have to say I have pretty good taste in people, my family and friends are awesome and I go see them as much as possible.......uh let's see what else...red wine over white, ranch over ketchup, Nicholas Cage is a shitty actor, and rock n' roll and the Dodgers over anything else. I like to stay busy, so if you spend a lot of time outside and are active, say hi. Well that's my speil for now. Somewhere you can be comfortable and have a conversation. Lots of options.

It was the best move I could have made; I love it out here! I'm very fortunate with my career at my age and being surrounded by great people and friends.I love to laugh and appreciate the little things in life. I keep busy but always make time for friends and family. I'm able to make my own hours and it's nice to take time off at will for random trips to Vegas or CA; always up for meeting new people and having fun! I enjoy relaxing at home and watching movies just as much as going out; I think having a good balance of both is best.I'm established and I know what I'm looking for and just haven't met the right girl yet. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to chat or know more :P"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did..""Live hard, die hard, and love hard in between...Because tomorrow ain't promised and today is slipping away..""Anything worth having, is worth working hard to keep.." Up to me to figure out :P

Alright. This profile definitely needed some revision. Here goes!A little about myself. I work in law enforcement, for the federal government. I work hard, and I love my job and what I do. That being said, I can work some crazy long hours sometimes, which can often make it difficult for me to make concrete plans with people. I have found this site a little easier for me to talk to people and get to know them on my time, *** having to face scheduling conflicts.More about me. Hobby wise, I enjoy running, working out at the gym, reading, and almost anything outdoors. I miss home sometimes but honestly nothing can beat the weather out here. I like to watch college football, and major league baseball.I am looking for someone who likes to go out and have fun, but is also interested in family life. I work hard, and would like my potential partner to also be goal oriented in life. I need someone who is able to communicate, as I am not the best at picking up subtle hints. Shocker, I know. I would also like to find someone with a well developed sense of humor. I find that laughter and being able to see the funny side of things can really make for some special moments. Must love dogs.Anything else please message me to ask. I'm not good at writing about myself. I tend to go for more of a casual first date. Ice cream, maybe a walk in a park, something like that. I don't mind movies, but it's not really conducive for a first date.

I am an adventurer who believes in a balanced but exciting lifestyle. I like to ride the divide between nature and culture. I spend my days outdoors - running, hiking, or playing sports - and, at night, I dive into cultural pleasures, like movies, books, and music.I teach humanities courses at a private high school, including art, film, photography, creative writing, and anthropology. Despite a demanding work load, I insist on living a life filled with pleasures, thrills, and enlightenment. I spend my weekends catching movies at the Loft, attending music shows, reading, and participating in any number of other awesome activities. I have been listening to bluegrass, old folk music, and even reading up on the cultural history of the area. I just visited the local library and picked up The Anthology of American Folk Music, a collection of old folks songs recorded by the Smithsonian in ***. I even threw on Ice Cube's "Today Was a Good Day" as I woke up last weekend. The same experimentation holds true for my tastes in film, food, and books. I sample from a bit of everything. I go to the Loft fairly often and catch independent and foreign films, but I am not above a good popular thriller or drama. For literature, I float back-and-forth between poetry and prose. I enjoy the poetry of 19th century nature- Ultimately, I have many interests and am insatiable when it comes to knowledge.
