About Me

Have decided to have a bit of an overhaul on here, so this is the new version!I'm well aware of my sometimes scatty or unpredictable nature, but don't think I have much chance of it changing now I'm almost 30! I'm here out of the (possibly misguided) genuine hope that there may be some real people out here who can communicate on my level - I'm not expecting to meet my future wife or anything but I do hope that there is the possibility that there may be someone on here who might want to meet and see how things develop. I'm also not expecting to jump straight into bed with anyone either, although I'm not here just looking for another friend and confidante. I enjoy the simple things in life as well as the finer, although I am not materialistic. I don't own vast amounts of possessions, nor do I wish too - but also, I am not a minimalist! I can be untidy sometimes, but scrub up well (and scrub things well too - not afraid of the washing up!). Recently joined the gym (although I've been lax of late) and can kinda see what all the fuss is about! Slowly showing some signs of success there - and you do feel good after, whodathunkit!I'd like to find a girl who I can share with, share my love of music (particularly punk and reggae - if you love NOFX then message me for that alone!), jokes, good times and hopefully more. I like to think I'm pretty low maintenance and would like someone relatively the same. If you're after someone to follow you around like a puppy dog then I'm not your man (although I'm sure you'll find plenty on here who will***and if you're looking for the 'finished' article then I am not he, we are all constantly growing and developing and life changes us continually. My values will stay the same, but I am not set in stone as to how to live my life. There are parts of my life that need working on, as I hope there are in yours as imperfections make the person - and working on those together is what makes a relationship work, give and take.Interests include Djing Football (Arsenal fan)MusicFilmsComedyFood (love eating out and staying in to cook***always buying recipe books and can spend hours watching the food channel!Music (in no particular order):-Punk (bad religion, nofx, rancid, dropkicks, pennywise, rise against, frenzal rhomb etc). Then of course there is my reggae - love playing it out and about in the clubs for people. Have not travelled a great deal but like the idea of seeing the world - as clichéd as it sounds! Have been to a few places in Europe but would love to see the other continents too. I always reply to a message, even if its a no - and id like to think others do the same but it appears not! If i'm not your cup of tea (which i can take, I'm a big boy!) then just let me know - don't like it when people don't reply, maybe I'm just being unrealistic?! I'd say a drink at a bar or pub, always think cinema is a bad call cos you just sit in silence for two hours (Hopefully, it's not about cinema chatters!) then on to a club or maybe some stand up. Coffee and a walk on the beach is never bad!I'm open to suggestions, what's yours?

    I'm a geek, but in the traditional 'uncool' sense and I enjoy most of what goes along with being a geek :)I have quite a few hobbies; more than I can take on at once, but I do try to make time for them all! Not all of the hobbies that I have fit within the 'spectrum of geekiness' but I make them work!My biggest passions are definitely film and music.
