About Me

I'm a laid back kind of guy, not much gets under my skin. I would consider myself to be level headed. I'm also a person that thinks more logically than emotionally. I find that a lot of people come to me if they are needing clear non-biased opinions and advice. However, at the same time I have a lot of love for life. I notice a lot of beauty that surrounds us every day. You could say that I like to stop and smell the roses more frequently than the rest of the world. Things you should know about me,-I am a 2x Combat Veteran of Iraq-I have a Purple Heart (you can see it on my Hat.)For those of you that don't know what that means, I was wounded in combat.-I am still in the Army Reserves, I work as a Mental Health Tech., my rank is E-5/SGT.-- MN.-I have a lot of pride in my accomplishments in and out of the military.-I love Helping Vets. It is my passion that drives me to do what I do.Let's see, what else? I am a very flexible person and can easily adapt to situations. I have a strong sense of family. My companion must get along with them. I also have a strong Belief in God. I don't consider myself to be religious, I just have Faith and I rely on it. It's where my morals and values come from. My friends would say that I'm more "Old School" when it comes to sex and relationships. I'm not one for the "One Night Stands". Matter of fact, I feel that I have to have a connection with a woman before I take that step. So if you're looking for something sooner, I'm sorry. I'm just not wired that way. Don't get me wrong I'm a guy and I have those impulses. However, I would like a Woman who can match my morals and values. However, I would like to think of myself as a romantic person and I have had a lot of good ideas. This is one that I haven't tried and would love to give it a shot. Mind you, this would not be a first date. Just some stuff I think about when I'm with a woman I care about.I would take my F***out, park it in the woods, and place candles all around. I would make sure to have a clearing in the tree tops for a view of the night skies. Then, I would hang a white sheet up on the trees and project a movie on it. I enjoy classics, I would probably have "Mutiny On the Bounty" playing, because I haven't seen it in awhile. We would sit in the bed of the truck with a blow-up mattress and plenty of blankets. Afterwards, we could lay and gaze up to the heavens and enjoy good conversation about anything and everything.

    Well where do I begin. I like to think of myself as a simple guy...I am honest, fun loving, daring, and above all an open hearted lover and friend. I am looking for someone that I can get along with. Eventually, I do want marriage, kids, a family. But I am hesitent because I plan on only getting married once. I am not saying that previous marriages or kids is a deal breaker, but if you think you might want to marry me plan on it being a lifetime committment with no chance of escape. We wrok different shifts and barely see each other. I work shift work, graveyard shift which is midnight to 8am. I have a great job which is very steady and guaranteed. I could make a life long career out of where i work, or I could find something else. I am not one who is married to my job, tho I am committed to it. I am a fly by my seat kind of guy. I am terrible about planning, but if i make plans I will not break them. I am open to do just about anything. I like the outdoors, fishing, going swimming at the lake, hunting, country cruising. I do like to drink, but I am far from an alcoholic. I drink occassionaly. I do not smoke. I am not opposed to either, I just don't like people smoking in my house, that is an *** breaker. I hate feeling like I am just a person of convenience. I want someone to want me as much as I want them. MOre so, someone who will prove they are willing and will do what ever is necessary. I want someone who will txt or call me, and not expect me to do so every time. Someone who will come see me as much as I go see them. I don't want someone who will give 50% and expect me to give 50%, but someone who will give 110% to the relationship and know that I will do the same. Someone I can trust, and they trust me, and we trust ourselves. I go to the gym on a regular basis, and would love to find someone to join me. If they are not interested in joining me, or they don't have the time, I want them to be understanding that I am going to go on a regular basis and they need to be ok with that. Someone how knows what I bring, and what I offer, and does not try to change me, but is willing to accept me in every way. Something fun, planned or spontaneous.
