I'm not to sure what to expect from this site. I have heard both the good and the bad, I'm not under any illusion that "the one" is going to magically pop up in my matches but what if she does? Just the potential to meet new people is worth filling all this out, even the chance to meet a great friend. I think we're all here because the bar scene is well...the bar scene. Getting set up by your friends is always a disaster and walking up to a stranger to say "hi" without getting tasered is next to impossible these days. I am a pretty normal guy with some abnormal traits. I am very humorous, I know this because people are always laughing at me. I play sports, watch sports, talk sports, coach sports, play video games, drink whiskey, smoke the occasional cigar, eat red meat, spend time on the golf course. I also enjoy staying in on rainy nights with a bottle and some fresh ingredients. A little about me! I moved down here end of ***, so I'm still relatively new to the area (I moved here for my career), so now I live off the bay which I love. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to live by the water. It's less of a beach bum thing, and more of a sense of peace and happiness when near the water and sand. Along those lines, I love the outdoors(like every guy ever I suppose). Hiking, camping, running; I'm an explorer by nature, and get a kick out of going places both exotic and new. I spent some time in the Marine Corps, so I got a chance to do some of that, however my list of places I want to visit and experience is quite long. Suffice to say I'm simply waiting for my partner in crime for the journey :) I love reading and do quite a bit of writing, I enjoy seeing new movies and cooking new recipes, (living by yourself tends to have that effect).Having moved down here for my job, I'm definitely very goal oriented but always make time for those important to me; the nature of my job gives me the ability to write my own schedule. I'm looking for someone with similar interests as me. I love a woman with a sense of direction both in life, and morally. Driven people are always the best to have around you, as they push you further just by their presence. A woman who can go with the flow, explore the world, keep healthy, and keep me on my toes. Challenging is more fun and brings more out in me, and I'm looking for someone to share life with (fingers crossed). Versatility to me means going from relaxing on the couch and watching an entire series of a show, to running on the beach or flying out west to visit my sister. Some spontaneity with a dash of planning ahead :) If I had to pick, I'd say a nice stroll along the ocean, either on the beach or boardwalk. Walking and talking is so much easier, as there's no staring at one another. Relaxing, stress-free, and with plenty of options for escape or continuance!
