About Me

I'm interested in finding new people/friends to hang out with and just have good times and deep conversation. If something deeper develops out of that, great. I'm not looking for the perfect girl, but I'm looking for the girl that's perfect for me. I'm very fond of people...especially the ones with good manners that can communicate and are overall genuine people.-coms. I'm not a neat freak but I do like things somewhat clean and organized. I do my own dishes, cooking, laundry, and vacuuming and I take care of myself and my dogs. I'm looking for another independent person to complete my life. I love campfires and fishing, there's nothing like being on a lake.I work as a dispatcher for Brown County 911. Trying to hang out with friends and family when I get the opportunities. I've been focusing on just wanting to feel alive and be healthy, and walking/working out does this for me. I used to play high school football and after HS I kind of just became a lazy bum and I gave up on life. I'm not even sure what lit my flame and inspired me to change, but I started making healthy lifestyle changes one by one and I've lost over ***pounds and am continuing to lose. After convincing myself that I had to make lifestyle changes *** overnight ones, my life is headed down an amazing path. I am still quite a ways away from my goal, but the journey has been something special.I am pretty emotional for a guy, and also pretty darn geeky. I spend way too much time thinking. It's rather annoying. I'm your typical over-analyzer.Let's see, I think I'm good at cooking, baking, board games, making people laugh, and growing a beard when I feel so inclined. I'm also very good at getting myself caught on things...like my pockets, shirts, lanyards, things I'm carrying.... I think I'm one of those people that's blessed/cursed...I'm not awesome at any one thing, I'm just good at a bunch of random crap and can pick things up quickly. www.postsecret.com I absolutely love that website/idea. Brilliant. I wish people could trust each other enough to be totally open with each other, enough to view each other's beings at the true core of our souls. Secrets are amazing to me. The way something can be so important that whoever has it in their head is scared of telling people just entraps me. Everyone has their secrets, but the reasons for keeping them is what intrigues me. Meet at a restaurant for a couple drinks and dinner conversation. Nothing too over the top, but enough to get a good feel for the other person. If things are going well, after dinner we could go for a nice walk and chat a bit more. It makes me laugh when people go to movies, etc, on their first date...how do you ever expect to get to know someone when you aren't conversing with them?!
