About Me

I'm a Kinesiologist and Sports Nutritionist. I work the entire gambit...from kids 10 and under all the way up to 70+. I love what I do. The way the human body moves continues to blow my mind. I'm a physiology and biochemistry nerd. I re-read my college and grad school text books because I learn something new every time. I try my best to be on the cutting edge with regard to my profession. I average ***hours per week doing some form of continuing education. Like I said, I'm a nerd. I enjoy writing about fitness and nutrition. I love barbell hip thrusts and dead lifts. I love rear-elevated split squats. I love the amino acid Leucine. It's the shit. It is my goal to write books/articles related to sport performance, corrective exercise, and performance nutrition. In addition to writing, I plan on owning my own sport performance and strength and conditioning facility. This will all have to wait until after I finish my PhD, which I plan to start fall ***. I like fried pickles. I love Chuy's. I'm very laid back, and I do not get upset easily. I try to keep things as evenly keeled as possible. I love traveling, especially outside the good old US of A. I lived in the Philippines for a total of 7 years, and I am grateful for the experiences and perspective that living outside the US provides.
