Just a brief blurb about myself to give you a taste...and I'd love to tell more to someone who wants to know :)I am a laid-back kinda guy, but not so much that nothing bothers me. I've been described as stoic, adventurous, intelligent, hilarious, and a good communicator. I can also be random and quirky, as my friends well know and you will too if we go out. I enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing, camp fires, and when I have the chance I like playing basketball, golf, volleyball, and just plain old catch. I am a fan of many genres of movies, TV, and music, so I won't even try to list my favourites lol. I feel that family is important, even though mine is scattered across the country. My friends are important to me and I have a good group of them. I work full time as a project coordinator & estimator for a construction company. I've been in that line of work for a few years, but I've also worked as a policy analyst for an Aboriginal organization. I've got a great mix of interests and backgrounds, and I'm always trying to improve myself personally and professionally. I will probably add and edit this as time goes on, but if you'd like to know more please give me a shout! We'll do something that gives us an opportunity to get to know each other better. A game of mini-putt, bowling, or just drinks and a walk downtown. Once we talk, I'll have a good idea of what you'd like to do :)

***a famous preacher in the Great Awakening--wrote the partially paraphrased quote found in my profile headline.; he wrestled with the same fear of loneliness that strikes at the heart of Christian young adults today--including myself.I am a student of Church History at Queen's University in the Master of Theological Studies (MTS) program. As I do not get away from my major research essay too often, I thought I would try posting a profile on this site. My research involves studying ecstatic behaviour in the Great Awakening; however, since most people begin to roll their eyes when I talk about my research, I won't bore you with the details unless you message me personally. In my free time I tend to play Nintendo video games, read various manga and watch anime. Occasionally I enjoy writing poetry; however, I have not had much time to do this since starting school 7 years ago. My favorite physical activity is biking.I take God's call on my life to enter academia very seriously. It should therefore go without saying that I also take my Christian faith seriously. As such, do not bother messaging me for hook-ups or other sexually deviant behaviour. I would perhaps be interested in going out for coffee on a first date. Honestly, it is the second date that is usually the harder one to plan. I'm open to suggestions?
