It would be much more fun to make up some long story that lasts several seasons of episodes about how we met...First, I'm not good with first impressions. I'm quiet, serious looking and shy, which some (most?) people mistake as being uninterested or snobbish.Usually I'm pretty mellow and low key, reading, watching something, hiking, finding some new music. Not a partier but I do like to dance once and awhile. I have been drawing from an early age and did complete a Video Game Art and Design program before (while) being struck down by a permanently paralyzed stomach (gastroparesis). Oh yeah, that's a complication from being a type 1 diabetic since age 11.I value intelligence, creativity, honesty and family. A romantic dinner under the stars... IN SPACE! (I wish)Seriously, if it's the first time meeting, I don't know if I consider the first time we hang out to be the first date. First Date (with capital F and D) comes after I get to know you at least a little.First time meeting: something innocuous and chill. Caffeinated beverages, inside or for a walk.

I'm a solid hard working guy who loves his friends and his career. I'd like to think I'm charming - it's the self deprecating sense of humor, but my friends would rag me endlessly for saying some lame crap like that. I like to go out and have a good time on the weekends. Bars are cool, but I also don't mind just grabbing dinner or hanging out. Just an FYI if you're wondering - I eat sushi but I'm not going to pretend it's my favorite food :-) I think I do a good job of walking the line between being fun and responsible. I like being financially stable, there comes a point where it's just not kosher anymore to have a roommate. I think too many people are into retail therapy, but I do happen to like me some Nordstroms though... I'm a decent looking guy, I take care of myself and I think everyone should work out if nothing else for the mental stress relief. I am looking for a lot of similar traits in a partner, but nothing too specific that comes to mind. Age, height, blonde/brunette all seems kind of trivial compared to - does she make you a better person. I'm just not in to absolutes. The most important thing I look for in someone is balance. If I had to narrow what I want down to a single phrase it goes like this: When I wake up in the morning I want to look at the girl in bed next to me and feel like the luckiest guy in the world. You'll just have to find out...
