Hi, I'm Tom - on here because I've heard people talking about it so it's about time I gave it a go!I've been thinking about what to put here and from reading other people's profiles it seems that a lot of emphasis is put on making yourself sound as interesting as possible in order to be more desirable. I can see why, but I think that the reality is often a little different to what is portrayed online!So, with that in mind, I've come up with a list of 10 truths about me - like them or lump them, it's me :***I work for the emergency services. It's hard work, the shifts are a pain in the bum at times but its rewarding and I get to drive fast with blue lights on!***I have S Club 7, Five and B*Witched on my iPod. My music taste is wide and varied so if you ever come in the car with me be prepared to be amused, bemused and occasionally enthused by my music collection!***I like to read. I will devour a good book in a couple of days and have just discovered how good the Kindle is. Again, my taste in books is varied and I'll read anything that I like the look of.***Cars are my hobby, although obsession might be more appropriate. I can turn my hand to fixing pretty much anything and have a garage full of tools and parts that come in handy from time to time. Fiddling with cars keeps me out of trouble and I get a lot of satisfaction from turning a car into something a little special. ***I like to have intelligent conversations, but I also really like being totally random and going off on tangents that could end up anywhere. I suppose I'm a little unpredictable but I'm extremely open-minded and unjudgemental. Talk to me about what you want, I don't offend easily and I'll always speak my mind.***I'm an only child. My parents split up when I was ***Mum lives not far away with her new husband and Dad currently lives on a canal boat but is about to move to Latvia with his new partner. Both have influenced me in different ways and I care about them very much.***I rarely drink but I do like going for a good night out - I love to dance if the music is good!***I like to ride my bike and go out for the occasional run as well as visit the gym and play squash when I can. Nothing regular but I have gym facilities at work which get used when possible.***I didn't go to university and I've never been travelling properly. I wish I had but I spent my early 20's working and getting into debt by building stupid cars. My aim for my 30's is to make up for that by seeing more of the world.-west America, oh and everything in between please.***I've got my own little 1 bedroom barn conversion near Crich. I'm not loaded and don't get left with much at the end of each month but I have enough to be comfortable and treat myself occasionally.***I really hope that the above comes across as I intended - just a little bit about me to give you an idea of me and what I'm about....I'm looking for someone who can understand all of the above and maybe even be honest and say that they're the same. A relationship with someone I can talk to, who's got their own mind and a bit of life experience would be my ideal.     Hi, I'm Chris and I don't really like filling out profiles but I'll attempt it anyway...I'm an outgoing person.
