I'm weird. Good-weird, hopefully; and if you're in any way similar, all the better! I'm a gamer, a musician (bass, guitar and I'm learning to play the Irish tin whistle and the Ukulele), a vegetarian, a chocoholic, and a proud geek! Before wildlife-based stuff, I'd also studied History and Music.I'm definitely an introvert, a lot of the time; and usually a night-owl, too. I really can laugh at myself, and I have a pretty dark, daring sense of humour! I am very open-minded, and continually try to become more so. I can be vocal and opinionated, even ruthless, sometimes, certainly unapologetic about who I am; I don't really compromise on my beliefs at all. But I'd also say I'm a deep thinker, a philosophically and politically astute person (with strongly-held pro-equality, socially libertarian, economically socialist and environmental leanings) with a big heart; primarily driven by my empathy, moral fortitude, and principles; by both my passion and my compassion.     I'm a bit of a mixed breed(English/Portuguese) although you couldn't guess just by looking at me. I grew up in Portugal but came here in my teens.
