Oh dear, I'm not very good at these things. Well first of all, let's stop the stereotypes... I like metal, but don't expect me to come with a massive beard or long hair. I am also inclined to wear other colours than just black. Music is a big part of my life and I am often doing something music related whether that be listening to it, attending gigs or writing/recording and performing it. I play a variety of *** the drums and bass. I am yet to realise my life-long dream of learning to play the bagpipes. I love to read and dream of a vast library being the focus of my retirement. I work in IT but I shall avoid going into details as I'm aware it's liable to send you to sleep. Needless to say, I am a bit of a nerd and enjoy sci fi and video gaming. My comic book collection is baggage I unfortunately come with also, but I thought I should just admit to it upfront. Don't get the idea I lock myself away in the dark though; My sense of humour doesn't endear me to everyone but sarcasm is my default position so I apologise up front for any offence caused. I'm looking for a like minded person who will tolerate my obsessions. Someone who applies themselves in their life but at the same time, doesn't take life too seriously.
