About Me

I'm most passionate about music, and am a working musician as a piano and keyboard player, singer, and arranger. I recently completed my Masters Degree in music by writing a Thesis in composition. It is such a relief to be done! I also teach piano lessons, and have done work as a conductor and musical director. I'm always up for going to see good live music, and can appreciate everything from a night of low down gut bucket blues, to a weekend at a street or folk festival, to an evening at the symphony or the theatre. While I work hard, and can sometimes have a busy schedule, I try to make as much leisure time as possible. I'm normally a quiet person, but can also be very energetic and animated. I am considerate, reliable, and punctual, and I expect the same from my friends and co-workers. For fitness, I enjoy a power walk or a good run on a regular basis, and get to the gym when I can. I love dinner parties with friends, or staying in listening to tunes, watching TV or a movie. I value my family and friends highly, and am a sentimental guy. If you want to know where I'm most at home, just sit me at a piano and request a tune! I've been known to break out into full Beatles albums or piano medleys. I'm looking for someone who is easy to talk to, has a sharp sense of humor, and can communicate honestly. As a bonus, I do appreciate if you know the difference between your and you're. I'm always up for a Jays game (well, the season's over now...wait 'till next year) I'm happy to go for coffee, drinks, dinner, or to stay in and make dinner. Going for a walk getting to know each other; hearing some good live music, I'm open to other ideas.
