. Music is a huge part of my life, I've been playing guitar since grade 10 music class. I still remember the feeling I got when I mastered a simple 12 bar blues riff. I still get the same feeling when I master a song and I absolutely love it. I'm learning to play the harmonica, and I'm trying to find a banjo and mandolin. My absolute favourite genre is blues, but I listen to everything from country to classic rock to folk music. I have my life together, with a good career, with incredible freedom. I can choose whether I want to work or not. When I do work it's long hours, no days off till the job is done. I love my job, it suits me very well. I work with extremely accurate measurements, which allows me to be as fussy as I want (I'm only fussy when it comes to work or building things) I love meeting new people, and experiencing what they have to offer, especially their weirdness. Most well adjusted adults have basically the same pedigree information, it's the oddities that set us apart from one another. That and my musical taste are apparently two of the key differentiators that separate me from the run of the mill nerdy guy. I've also been told I'm better at carrying on a conversation, as well. Maybe you will agree.I am looking for people on here because I've had this internet deal work out for me a time or two (though not quite well enough, obviously) and it's difficult to find people who share my sense of humor and interests around here, especially since I'm not big on going out to bars and clubs. So, it's back to the internet, seeing what comes of this, who knows, maybe you're the person I've been looking for and vice versa.If you live a good distance from me and I look at your profile, it's because I'm at the point in my life where I'm wondering if I'm going to have to move to find someone I can have things in common with. I love my friends and family here, but I'm sort of a niche market in my area as far as my interests go, I'm not country and that is what a lot of people here look for. I do enjoy being outdoors (when my allergies don't punish me for it) but I'm not going to go hunting or ride fourwheelers or things like that. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just not something I grew up doing. I'm still a great guy and one day I'll find someone who will agree with me on this again. Hey, I just got my life back in order, i got a job as a fed firefighter but have also been a personal trainer all my life. Im a little shy at first but open up quickly depending on who im hanging out with. I spend most of my time either at work, or in the gym. Im enjoy trying to stay in shape but by no means is it everything to me. I played sports all my life, i.e. Football, Wrestling, and swimming. Yes I was married before and have a beautiful son, but unfortunately things did not work out because of the military lifesyle. My son lives with his mother in TX so i try and be as much a part of his life as I can. Other than that im looking to make new friends out here and possible a girl too. Im a very loving person and can enjoy sitting inside and watching a movie as much as the outdoors and camping out. My first date would probably be either some place where the girl feels most comfortable, and something she really enjoys; that way she can open up and be herself. I also like going out to dance every once in awhile, and would love someone who enjoys it as well. BUT if it was up to me... Fire up the grill, open up a few beers and get ready for some football!! lol, but there is always room for improvement like some music and a few games to liven up the mood.
