I'm severely optimistic. I solve problems. I'm intuitive. I can't remember the last time I was mad. I'm adaptive. Cool with people of all orientations, especially those who have rum. I think my personality is a cross between a CIA agent, Christian Grey and Jack Sparrow.Someone who would save you from a burning building, hand you some rum, whisper kinky ****ery in your ear, and then invite you to sushi. After we take a shower. Smelling like a smoldering rumble pile isn't quiet there yet.After grabbing my degree, I decided to start traveling internationally and working in different countries. It wasn't through a tour group, company, or for school. I just picked a warm weather country, found an airplane and went for it.I was a fruit picker in Northern Australia. I was security for Ferrari/Porsche/Team Redbull/Jon Travolta in Southern Australia.Recently, I was an English teacher in South Korea. While it wasn't my most favorite jobt, the kids learned a lot from me.To top all this, I'm in constant touch with friends from around the world. We've had crazy stories together. It's been a blast.I think time is short and you can't get it back. So if we go out, I try new things, focus on us, and if that means sitting around relaxing....then it isn't time wasted.I'm not materialistic, but I enjoy nice things. I get dressed up if I go out. You should take care of yourself as well.Maybe someone calls it try hard, but I think those people are lazy. I'm not against make-up or dresses. Take pride in how you look. There's a time and place for everything.I'm not very religious. I keep it simple.     It was recently brought to my attention that my profile still said I lived in a different state. I am heading back after a year of change to family, friends, and my awesome job. Now that I have all the basics covered I figure I should start meeting some new people. Work keeps me around a lot of familiar faces, and while they are all amazing people, I want to broaden my perspective a little bit. As for me, I am a 28 year old college graduate, constantly striving to better myself and the world around me. I work long hours, mostly just paper shuffling, but I do enjoy it a lot. My free time is spent reading, running, or in the gym. I have a pretty broad taste in everything from music, to movies, to food. I love new experiences and am great at finding the good in things. I am always up for Thai, Indian, Afghan, or good old fashioned down-home cooking. I am also a pretty good cook, when I actually have the chance to do it.Music is pretty much my life-blood. My music changes with my mood. When I am feeling motivated, its heavy guitar riffs and double bass. When I am feeling sentimental its country and easy listening. I don't think there is much I won't listen to when it comes to music.I am hoping that eventually my time here and my career will allow me the opportunity to complete my ever growing list of personal goals. I really hope that someday soon I can settle down some place warm, meet an amazing woman with whom to live passionately, have a family, and enjoy life. My biggest long-term personal goal is to go back to school so that I can teach at a small college or university. I am usually pretty spontaneous and low maintenance with dates. I think the experience is defined by the company, so it should be something low key, fun, and relaxed. An afternoon sipping coffee and talking about the world, or a nice evening of drinks and blues seems to be the best way to get to know people. A suit and a five star restaurant are fun, but I save those dates for when I feel a real connection. An expensive date is meaningless if there is not some kind of chemistry. I am both a hopeless romantic and a bit of a cynic about dates, but most of all I am realistic. It's just a date, so what is there to lose?
