It was recently brought to my attention that my profile still said I lived in a different state. I am heading back after a year of change to family, friends, and my awesome job. Now that I have all the basics covered I figure I should start meeting some new people. Work keeps me around a lot of familiar faces, and while they are all amazing people, I want to broaden my perspective a little bit. As for me, I am a 28 year old college graduate, constantly striving to better myself and the world around me. I work long hours, mostly just paper shuffling, but I do enjoy it a lot. My free time is spent reading, running, or in the gym. I have a pretty broad taste in everything from music, to movies, to food. I love new experiences and am great at finding the good in things. I am always up for Thai, Indian, Afghan, or good old fashioned down-home cooking. I am also a pretty good cook, when I actually have the chance to do it.Music is pretty much my life-blood. My music changes with my mood. When I am feeling motivated, its heavy guitar riffs and double bass. When I am feeling sentimental its country and easy listening. I don't think there is much I won't listen to when it comes to music.I am hoping that eventually my time here and my career will allow me the opportunity to complete my ever growing list of personal goals. I really hope that someday soon I can settle down some place warm, meet an amazing woman with whom to live passionately, have a family, and enjoy life. My biggest long-term personal goal is to go back to school so that I can teach at a small college or university. I am usually pretty spontaneous and low maintenance with dates. I think the experience is defined by the company, so it should be something low key, fun, and relaxed. An afternoon sipping coffee and talking about the world, or a nice evening of drinks and blues seems to be the best way to get to know people. A suit and a five star restaurant are fun, but I save those dates for when I feel a real connection. An expensive date is meaningless if there is not some kind of chemistry. I am both a hopeless romantic and a bit of a cynic about dates, but most of all I am realistic. It's just a date, so what is there to lose?

    Honestly, I'm about to delete this. I'm probably going to sound like a prick, but that's only because I'm getting a bit fed up of people assuming I'm a certain way when they see that I'm in a wheelchair. So I'm going to just be blunt with you. I've been in a wheelchair since I was 17. I had a spinal cord stroke that came from out of the blue. Before that I lived a typical normal teenage life. I was in football, hockey, wrestling, track, and also dance. I'm still that same guy except I'm in a wheelchair. I can still have sex. I can have kids. I drive my own vehicle. I am able to work. I workout by lifting weights, pushing my chair everyday, and biking. Yes they make bikes for crippled, they are called hand cycles. I also play other sports when I find the chance such as tennis, paintball, waterskiing, horseback riding, and softball. I also live on my own and take care of myself fully so you don't have to worry about having to take care of me if we date. That's just nonsense. Ok, I'm done ****ing. :)I'm a very genuinely caring guy. I always put others before me. I'd consider myself a hopeless romantic as I'd love to fall in love, get married, have kids and live a healthy and long lasting family life.I enjoy going out and doing anything such as shooting pool, karaoke, dancing (yes I can dance and I'm quite good at it), grabbing some drinks, bowling, or just a walk through the park.I promise that whoever I end up with will not regret anything as I am looking for a companion (not a nurse), and someone to live my life with happily. If you're just looking for friendship I'm down for that too! Can never have enough friends. :) I'm spontaneous and full of surprises!
