I like to travel and try new things. I may seem quiet but once you get to know me I\'m a lot more open. I\'m hoping to share time, conversation, and mutually enjoyable activities with someone.

That's not asking too much is it?Throughout my life I've always had a bit of what they call, "the wonderlust." I've traveled abroad, moved to the west coast, and co-founded a profitable start-up all in an effort to experience the most out of life. It's been a bumpy ride, but I've managed to learn a lot about myself and others in the process. It would be nice to find someone who likes to get out and do a range of different things. I'm always game to check out the art shows, comedy clubs, jazz clubs, live music, hiking, museums, pub trivia nights, cooking classes, rock climbing, etc. Come get some culture with me!I'm able to find something in common with nearly anyone. The bar scene can be great after a long work week, but I've found that people have a lot of preconceived notions about who they're meeting in that environment long before I can the get chance to prove otherwise. Granted I've never had a problem meeting people when I'm out at bars, it's just getting a little old.Maybe you can give me some insight into how to pick someone up at a Safeway or Giant..? and I'm not going to use the line, "mine's bigger" So I guess that's what plentyoffish is for, hopefully I can meet someone in a new context every once in a while.Inevitably, I think all people want an understanding of their counterparts "intentions." To put it simply, I'm not looking for one nighters or silliness like that. I'm looking for someone interesting enough to maintain my attention, funny enough to make me genuinely laugh out loud, and cute enough to brag about to my friends. Fair?***PS: I very seldom message girls first on this site. Every sketch-ball guy on here has ruined that feature for the rest of us... so if you would like to talk, it's quite alright to initiate the conversation. *But I won't respond to messages less than 3 words in length. My Blog:http://www.burningbridgeslightmyway.com It depends on the season, what's happening around me and with you, and what amount of time we have... Then we'll see how things go :)

Hello. Although I think its better to really talk and get to know someone, nevertheless here is a brief summary. I'm on here looking to see what happens, because if there's something I've learned from life it's to live daily and open yourself up to possibilities and experiences, without too much undue expectations....but if and when something good comes our way, then why not carpe diem and accept it with open arms?Love writing so much that I want to make a career out of it. I would love the feeling of doing something where I feel a difference can be made, putting my passion into a purpose-fulfilled life. Currently a junior, seeking a major in Journalism and a minor in International Studies. Finally returning back to college after a hiatus. Had a period of travelling, self-discovery and other things come up but I'm determined to finish this degree. In the meantime, I work at a restaurant but this is just till I can finally move on to bigger and better things.I am also a bookworm, big history buff, art and music connoisseur, and anything having to do with culture really. I love to appreciate nature and all the beautiful treasures it has to offer. If living life without regrets is a motto, then one thing that I certainly don't regret is having gotten a bug of the adventurous spirit and traveling around. Although Capricorn is known for structure and order, I can be quite spontaneous and adventurous sometimes....always open to new experiences and going off the beaten track.; but far from a stereotypical Southern man. I am of German and Spanish descent, with strong family ties still back in Europe. You can find me rooting for EspañOne thing that should be said is although I have "non-religious" listed, I am very spiritual/mystical - just don't feel people's perceptions of religion can really contain my spirituality. I am way too open minded to want to be put in a category to be judged by other than who I am. Nor do I think religious/spiritual differences are any impediment to a potential relationship. There are many more things to write but I'd prefer to talk through conversation - and I am equally a good listener and interested in getting to know someone - except that I am also very passionate about what goes on in the world. If there's one thing that I can't stand, it would be willful apathy. Aside from that, the main thing I value in a potential relationship is honesty, communication and being able to look past imperfections. A first date would be one which is laid back and focused on getting to know and talk with each other. That would rule out a movie theater or any other place where conversation can't really happen. I was raised to be a gentleman, so would put some effort into planning a first date although while keeping in mind what we both like and want to do. Finally although we should live in the moment on the first date and not put too much unreal expectations into it, if all goes well then we could both agree on a second date....
