I've got a bit of a nerdy streak that comes out sometimes, so someone who is willing to tolerate that is always a plus.I've recently begun home-brewing and have done several batches so far. It's a great way to fill an afternoon, and you can enjoy the fruits of your labor a month later. Most of my batches have been on the odd side, just so I can have something interesting for people to try. The oddest thing I've done was try to brew with candy orange slices. It should have worked, but unfortunately the batch didn't turn out as planned. I also enjoy watching the cream of the B movie crop. From the ever popular "Attack of the Killer Shrews" to the more mundane "Evil Dead." I want to get a PhD at some point as well, but I'm not in a rush to finish my education. I'm usually looking for a laid back first date. No matter how well online communication goes, having a chance to meet someone in person makes a huge difference. Something simple like going out for a drink or coffee.

So I am a Biomedical Engineer, currently I'm working on Medical Laser systems in hospitals all throughout the northeast, im somewhat of a geek;) (not a dungeons and dragons/video game geek though.) anyways-I love my job, but live for my days off. Im recently out of a 5 year LTR that really wasn't going anywhere, so im just taking my time being single and looking to meet people, be social, and see what happens-so yep here goes all that:)I'm very active in my spare time, snowboarding is my passion, however during the rest of the year when I can't cruise down a mountain strapped to a board you can find me at the gym, golfing, playing tennis, biking, hiking, or doing anything outdoors......or indoors.....or sleeping lol. Hello! I'm Nick. So about me. I am 29 and have an awesome 5 year old son. You won't find a more understanding guy then myself, down to earth and completely real. I am not afraid to be completely honest and open all the time. It really works wonders when people stay that way. Honesty- Last year I was laid off from my full time job. Since then, I have turned my part time business full time. Between that and choosing to not be a dead beat dad, financially it sucks but I get by. That said, yes I live with my parents. It is not ideal but this is what my family does for each other. I am also still pursuing becoming a full time FF/EMT. All that said, it does not change who I am or what I bring to the table or who I am as a person. I am doing the best I can with the circumstances and thats all I can do so please don't judge. I am a huge IU fan, Colts season ticket holder, and keep a close eye on the Pacers and St. Louis Cardinals. Needless to say, sports is a huge part of my free time. Fall and Christmas time are my favorite time of the year. Just something about it all! I know what I am looking for so when I find it I will know. I want someone who is athletic and likes sports, who is intelligent, open, funny, care free, they have to know what they want and be determined to get it. I listen to mostly country music and want to start to go to more concerts over time but I also can enjoy other genres as well. Healthy eating is becoming a bigger priority and I currently workout with a trainer ***days a week. I would def. enjoy someone who is on the same path. Makes it A LOT easier!The last few years have been hard, especially the last few months, and all I can say is that it just makes you better than what you were. I am a family person. We get together every Sunday for lunch. I am an open book, you can ask anything you want and I hope you do. I have no secrets. There is a big hearted shy guy here that just need the chance to prove his worthiness so come give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed! I'm down for just about anything. The best way is to find a mutual like or hobby and go do it. Puts both in a comfortable setting.
