About Me

I'm a young professional working on my career as a microscope-selling extraordinaire. I've done well for myself, and I'm proud of that, but I want to figure out what's next. I'm aiming to be self employeed and retire young with my special lady in a tropical climate. So for now I'm taking my generous salary and stashing most of it, and treating myself a little.I spent many years studying science. Now I'm studying the guitar in my spare time. I love jazz music and that's what I want to learn to play. If you do, that is a HUGE bonus. I'm into football and fine dining. Beer fests are cool too. I also love to travel and visit new cities. I like to dance like an idiot. I like to visit new cities as often as possible on a long weekend. I hope you will travel with me. I like to swim for fitness (I swam in high school and college and then took a hiatus and I still LOVE it), and I'd really like to get into skiing and hiking more. But I need someone to go with :(I am close to my friends and family, but I've always been closer to the women I've dated, and I like that. That's what I'm hoping to find here. Looking for someone with a great sense of humor who can teach me something. If you like to laugh then I think we'll get along.Also I'm thinking about getting a cat soon. Any advice?     Heya. I've never really fancied the whole internet dating thing, or hitting on girls at 'the club' (or anywhere else for that matter), so Im not quite sure how to go about all this, but just out of a long ***year) relationship (was married, still a little healing left to do), and very much looking to connect with someone again. My music tastes are deeeeeeep, diverse, and particular...the two most important traits to my taste in music are production quality and soul. My relationship expectations are pretty few, most importantly just to be treated with respect. Definitely a bit gun-shy of big commitments at present, so just looking to hang out, laugh, connect with and get to know someone new. Something fun where we can get to know each other a bit, that isnt cliche. Unless its bowling, because although it may be cliche, its still fun.
